Just to say. . .
I am SO grateful from the bottom of my heart to all of you for helping me live the creative life i have chosen to live, providing me with the security i need to do this, and the encouragement and criticism i need to do this. I am so, so grateful, Thankyou so much!
Two exciting new projects are on the way. MILKING THE COMMUNITY, and "We're Gonna Need a Sample". Both of these are in active development, with the first faltering footsteps already taken. You be amazed how much setup and tweaking it takes to get this stuff to a point where it is easy to do it.
"Milking the community" will be the name given to the series of videos of me fulfilling the song requests of top tier patrons. The first is done, and I'll be making one a week roughly. It'l be going live with a press release in a months time.
"We're Gonna Need A Sample" is the show idea where me and the community, i.e. YOU GUYS, go through the utter weirdness of the internet, we react to it, and it goes out as a neatly edited show each one under half an hour in length, though each recording session will be an hour or more.
I'm gonna be working on my visuals to trim them down, re-invent them and configure them to be sound reactive. This is a big project but it's time, as all my streams are effected by the current quality of the visuals, which are i think on balance, currently too static, too homogeneous and too distracting. They need to be cleverer and not obfuscate my rig which is where the fascination happens.
So. . . Join me on the discord, I'm there every day!

The thing about making visuals not-distracting is a really interesting problem. I know the guys behind IglooVision https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mNlRGuNziw (a surround projection thingy). One thing I noticed being in it, was people would all be just staring at the walls, mesmerized. Years later, making some visuals for a drone music band, I tried to cover the *really* non distracting visuals did some based on a load of photos by a bloke in the band, they were all faded, so it was pretty easy to make something with a lot of layers and really subtley fade between them.. if anything, it was too un-distracting!
I'm downunder and the last two years have been pretty rough in terms of lockdowns and trying to work whilst homeschool two young kids (I know things have been v tough up in UK too). The tunes you have been putting out and the sets on twitch have really been enjoyable and contributed to keeping me going. Appreciate you mate, and all the best t'up north
Looking forward to these projects! <3
