So, uhhhh... you MAY have noticed that there's a distinct lack of pizzagirl in this one. Well, you see, the thing is... I got cold feet about the punchline and I ended up shelving the comic for now 💀 While I was doing the linework, I stepped back and took a good look at the sketch I made, and I was like, "...Am I happy with this one?" and I wasn't actually sure :( So, I plopped it over in the "Rework" folder to fix up another time. Don't worry, she'll definitely come back at some point! The delivery is just being rescheduled 🍕

However, while I was in the "Rework" folder, I saw THIS old sketch panel that I showed you all as a sneak-preview months ago:

And I was like, "HmmmmmMMMMMMMmmm..."

I spent some time workshopping it, and I finally figured out how I wanted to rework this old idea, so I picked it back up again! So now, at long last, we have some canon Mona lore about her late father - a barrel-chested Firefighter Chief, who took on the biggest job of his life: impregnating Monika. Unfortunately, Mona never got to meet her father, but in another universe, perhaps she would've followed in his footsteps to become a firefighter herself: smashing through walls with her hefty booty 💥
