Standalone Bonus Panel: "Lavish Layliana" (+Nude Variants!)

EDIT 6/20: Got some really good progress done on the new comic, so expect it SOON ๐Ÿ‘€ Here's a sneak peek!

---

So, uhhhh... remember that thing I said about maybe drawing some standalone bonus panels for old comic ideas that never got made? Well... yeah lol

THIS one was intended for an old comic idea where I considered introducing Layla's dad: a completely-normal office worker with no supernatural powers whatsoever. He accidentally drew a Summoning Sigil on his pancake with syrup, which summoned Layliana, who was impressed and fell in love with him. However, the comic ended up getting shelved for "a later time", so this Bonus Panel idea never got fleshed out... UNTIL NOW.

The thing about adding characters is that you have to be consistent with them. I've got about 7 total characters right now, but other than the main trio, the rest of the side characters appear far too rarely. If I added even more characters (especially non-sexual characters), it'd be difficult to regularly mix them into comics that I feel like my readers would enjoy AND that I'd be happy with. Poor Monika hasn't appeared in almost 40 comics! (but don't worry, she's on the way - you can feel the ground shaking with her every step).

Before I consider something like adding more characters, I think I need to get better at streamlining my process so I can draw faster. I pride myself on my writing, but I've always been a bit of a slow artist - this piece took a total of about 9 working hours to create, and it blows my mind when I see other artists pump out artwork way faster. The thing is, my art style has changed a LOT these past 100+ comics, but so has my process - the way I stage my sketches, the order in which I build them, the layers I set up, etc. Way back when my comics were just scribbly background-less doodles, it only took me about two days to make them, but now it takes about a week to wrap up a complete comic. It's a weird feeling! It's nice that I've gotten better at art, but it also feels like I'm slower as a result because art is just a non-stop learning process. Every time I draw a thick booty, I learn a little bit about how to make my next booty thicker... but it takes me a little longer to cook it up. I hope someday I can reach a point where I'm "comfortable" with how my art looks, and then I can just focus on doing it faster and faster.

AAAAANYWAY, didn't mean for this to turn into a big blog post! It does feel nice to get some of that off my chest though :) These worries have been bogging me down lately and probably have to do with why I've been in such a rut lately. I know some of you tell me it's OK to take my time, but I just can't escape that constant feeling of "your patrons are supporting you - they're counting on you to make more art, don't let them down, go go go, you need to finish this soon, faster c'mon, this isn't good enough, it's not funny enough, it could've been better" aaaaAAAAA, it just never really stops ๐Ÿ’€ But I know a lot of that is just my anxiety (if you haven't noticed, I'm an extremely anxious person lol), so I'm working on shaking off that feeling of dread. And I'm STILL BLOGGING, so uhhhh I'll cut it off here and go make some tea :) Thanks for reading, and good night!

Also, for those wondering, the symbols on her maebari say "DANGER. HEAVEN. DEATH." No deep lore implications, however - I just thought it'd be fun to imply that the pussy of an Eldritch Goddess is so good, it might literally kill you lol

EDIT: Added "stockings" versions, because why not โœจ
