Alright, timelapse time! All the socializing-obligations these past two weeks has passed, so I can finally go back to being a coffee-sippin' hermit in peace 😌 I don't know about you all, but my social battery is NOT built for this. One social gathering a week is all I can manage before I spontaneously combust.
The new comic is still underway, but progressing a little slower than I'd like... It feels like I've been in such a creative rut lately! Aaauhgfsgaushd! So, today I pulled up a fresh canvas and doodled some various Veronica-boobies to try kickstarting my brain; just something silly and fun to unwind. For those unfamiliar with Raita's work, he's an accomplished artist with a very distinct style of sloped, up-pointed breasts:
Every now and then, I'll see art on Twitter with those cloud-gazing titties and think, "Ah, yup - that's Raita" lol, not to cast any shade on him though! Everyone's got their own unique styles, and if everyone drew boobs exactly the same, they probably wouldn't be as fun 🍈

In other news, I just received the 4th prototype for the Mona plushie and I think it's about ready to go! I had one final edit to submit (a minor tweak to the face embroidery), but once it comes back, I think she'll be ready for mass production and pre-orders will be open!
Thanks for your patience while I've been working through the design process! I've submitted a lot of edits since the original prototype, and although I realize that a 3D plushie is never gonna look exactly like a 2D character, I'd still like to get it as close as I can! That said, I'm psyched to even have the opportunity to create plushies of my characters, and I'm really grateful to my fans for allowing me to get this far :)

Welp, for the rest of the evening, I think I'm just gonna try to focus on getting these next few panels done; once I'm farther along the comic pipeline, I'll probably feel a little less stressed for time and maybe finally climb out of this rut. Although, at some point, I'd like to hold off on a comic and just draw a bunch of standalone Bonus Panels throughout the week - sometimes I have neat ideas for a bonus panel, but I end up "saving them" for comics that never happen 💀 For now, I hope you're having a nice Friday! The weekend is finally upon us, so kick up your feet and take it easy for awhile!
