20th September 2026: Fixed an issue with scheduling that could occur when saving or traveling, and cleaned up the pie menu options so they're not overwhelming. In addition, you can now edit your Teen & Child Sims' After-School Activities schedules. And... I've also added a new feature: AnyPay. You can now change your Sims' salaries to any amount you like. Check out the user guide for more info. YOU MUST GRAB THE LATEST VERSION OF MY MOD LIBRARY TO SEE THESE CHANGES.
9th September 2026: Added several new features and optimized some others. You can now choose Variable Shifts in the new Advanced Scheduling menu for different hours on different days. Also, you can now create your own custom presets to use with other Sims in your save. Additionally, you can now have multiple careers! Use the new Manage Multiple Careers menu. The original Find a Job interaction has not been touched, keeping this mod compatible with any other. You can read more in my new user guide. You will need the latest version of my modlibrary installed.
2nd September 2026: Added a new feature; multishifts. Sims can now change their schedule if they're in the Park Worker career (Adventure Awaits DLC). Don't have the DLC? You can still use multishifts! There's a brand new option under Phone/Mailbox/Computer, and you can now optionally purchase a calendar from the build buy catalog for §25 (search for 'AnyShift', 'Calendar', or look under Paintings & Posters), which enables your Sims to change their schedules without tech. You'll need today's version of my modlibrary to see the changes.
2nd August 2026: Added custom shift & reset options to Phone → Business and Mailbox → AnyShift. Grab the latest version of my modlibrary too, as that should solve the issue a few of you were experiencing where the custom creation option was disappearing.
26th July 2026: Fixed an issue with settings not being saved correctly. Also renamed the settings file so it's clear what it's for.

My latest mod is here! I've been wanting to create something like this for a while, and I'm happy to say it's ready to go.
Create your own shift schedules, whatever your career (yes, it works for School and Discover University too), and choose from Morning, Day, Evening, or Night presets.
If you don't see a schedule you like, you can easily create your own. Just head to Computer → Career, or Mailbox → AnyShift, or purchase an AnyShift Calendar from Build/Buy. There are also minimal options available under Phone → Business.
Your new schedule stays with your Sim even when they're promoted, and you can disable it or reset it to the career's default settings at any time.
To save the settings you create, a JSON file will be generated in your \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 folder. If you find yourself creating the same schedule over and over for your Sims, you can Save Current Schedule as Template, give it a name and an icon, and apply it to others.
You can also Create Extended and Variable Schedules, allowing your Sims to work away for a few days or work different hours on different days. Additionally, there's an option to Add Another Career, meaning your Sim can work multiple different jobs; it's just up to you to ensure their schedules don't conflict.

If you have Royalty & Legacy and a Noble Sim with the Arrange Promotion perk active (see Ashton's comment below), and you receive an LE when clicking on your Sim's phone, it's due to an EA error. I've fixed that error, and if you encounter the same issue, you can download my patch here.
Known conflict with TurboDriver's Unlimited Jobs mod (mine does the same thing without overriding EA's methods)
Download to C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods (Script files must be no more than 1 folder deep).

Hello! This Mod doesnt work for me at all. I even tried to put away all my mods and leave just this one. I can set schedule, but i cannot view it and my sims are working default hours no matter what. I have your mod library. I tried both new and legacy versions!

Hi, I had a quick question. yesterday and today, when I load my game up your notification pop up tells me that anyshift and mod library are outdated but as far as i can see, they havent been updated since 9/22 and i had already updated them 10/6 so I'm just wondering if I'm missing something lol
Hi, love this mod ! I have a question where is your description to how to troubleshoot. My sims has the handy job career and he is uni . I changed one class to 6:30-7 pm and he didn’t go (I’m scared he gonna be penalized)
Hi, if you changed it on the day or the day before, it won’t take effect until the next day they’re due to go.
Hey! ❤️ I love this mod so much!! I was just curious is there a way to set the custom hourly pay to not be capped at 1m? or would that be too much to ask for lol I have a successful rich family and was just curious to see if it could go past 1m? I know it sounds crazy to have someone hourly pay past 1m 😂 but is it possible?
I'm so glad you like it! I've capped it at $1,000,000 an hour intentionally. The game can technically calculate higher amounts, but household funds cap at $99,999,999. I'd rather keep it at that, as I'm not sure what effects it could have on other systems.
Hi, i love your mods, for some reason AnyShift when I resume a save only one of my sims schedules is saved, then the other sims is reset and vice versa? Am I setting them wrong?

hi, i dont know why this mod doesnt show up on the comp or mailbox. i can find the calendar but i cant find where to change. its not in careers. anyway the idea seems so cool. great work. well done.

hi! when a sim is in multiple careers and the arrange promotion dynasty perk is active and opens the phone, the below error triggers. i've only seen it happen when the sim is in the noble career + another career so not sure if it happens to sims that are not nobles. They count as volunteer careers which I blacklisted, but I can add that for you.

Yes it doesn’t touch the game’s Find a Job feature or override anything that mod does.

Yes, it is, but mine works independently to the games Find a Job function.
Hiii ! I love this mod so much , it adds so much flexibility. Will there be a way for sims to still take vacation days after making their custom schedule ? When i make a custom schedule, my sims can no longer take a vacation day-it deletes that off the phone menu for me
It’s because you’ve changed your schedule. You can’t call for PTO if your next shift is more than 24 hours away. That’s just how the game is, my mod doesn’t change that part. Glad you’re enjoying it!

Hi, sorry for my naivety, but I don't understand why I have files with this name mt_anyshift_g1560215555 and similar in my Sims folder if I don't have this mod? I have midnitetech_modlibrary and the mod renames worlds, midnitetech_NoteworthyNotebook and midnitetech_WriteBooksOverhaul Are these mt_anyshift_g1560215555 and similar files that I have to delete when I clear the game cache?
Because they're part of the modlibrary. I uploaded the wrong version, so it keeps generating the json file. It's nothing to worry about, but you can delete them if you wish. I'll have the new version out very soon.

Thank you for all of your excellent mods! I was hoping to use this mod to change the multi-day shift format of the park worker. However when I apply a modified schedule to the career all information disappears from the career tab UI and I get an MCCC error. Is this user error on my part or does this mod simply not work with the park worker career?

Hi, so I keep trying to get the mod to work, I got the mod library and the any shift in my mods folder, the options to update shift hours do appear but the UI does not change and my sims still go to work at the default hours, even when the notification telling me it was a success appears.

No, it doesn't break PTO. The game may remove the option if you change your schedule and your next shift is more than 24 hours away. This isn’t caused by the mod.

I’m not sure if I may have another mod conflicting but since I have added this script included with this mod, the 3D freelancer career disappeared. All of the other options are there just not the career itself.
