Hi everyone!
I’m so excited to finally share something festive I’ve been quietly working on behind the scenes: Cozy Winter Moments, a brand-new mini-mod designed to bring seasonal vibes, small adventures, and warm memories to your Sims’ winter days. And best of all… it’s completely free for everyone.
Whether you celebrate Winterfest or just enjoy a frosty aesthetic, this mod gives your Sims new ways to step out, unwind, and return home with a story (or a souvenir!) to tell.
❄️ What’s Included
✨ Eight themed winter rabbithole outings
Each one comes with its own atmosphere, charm, and potential for snacks, custom gifts, and unexpected warm fuzzies:
❄️ Walk the Winter Lights Trail
🍵 Visit the Cozy Kettle Café
✨ Explore Lantern Lane Winter Market
🎄 Go Tree Shopping
🎁 Shop for Winterfest Gifts
🍿 Catch a Festive Flix Feature
🛷 Join the Neighborhood Snow Day
🎵 Go Candlelit Caroling
Your Sims can go solo, or bring the whole household. Every outing has custom buffs, notifications, and the chance to come home with crafts, treats, décor, or little memories.
🎄 Custom Buffs & Objects
Each outing comes with moodlets to capture the moment, all with a cozy vibe, sometimes a bit sentimental (it is winter, after all). Many events include:
Unique handcrafted items
Seasonal foods and drinks
Festive décor pieces
Buffs & notifications
Fun & social gain
Make new friends
💬 Ready to Head Off on a Trip?
You can launch outings directly from your Sim’s phone, under Travel, or Computer, under Household.
🎁 A Thank-You Gift
This mod is a little thank you for all your support this year, whether you’re a long-time patron, a casual downloader, or someone who just loves adding more storytelling into their game. The Sims community has always been so kind to me, and your feedback keeps me inspired.
Cozy Winter Moments will be available free for everyone, and will stay that way permanently.
Thank you again for being part of this community.
I hope Cozy Winter Moments brings your Sims exactly what the season’s meant for: good memories, fun, and a little warmth in the cold.
Stay cozy, and Happy Winterfest!

It doesn't work for me, maybe there's some conflict.....
Hi Ana, it doesn't work how? If the option isn't showing at all, you may not have my mod library installed? Let me know!
it won't let me get the dlc and do I need season's pack
Hi, no Seasons isn’t required. Do you use the EA App or Steam? You can download the Holiday Celebration pack there if you don’t already have it- it’s a free EA pack.
I just stumbled on this mod (I use your write books overhaul and afterschool activities mods! ) and it says that Holiday Celebration DLC is required but when I click on your link above I get a "404 We are sorry, we can't seem to find the page you were looking for." - Is it possible to use this mod without that DLC since I don't have it? I didn't start playing until Feb so I wasn't around when this came out last Dec. -- Thank you for all your awesome mods! I can't imagine my game without them!! :)
This is one of my favorites! Would you ever consider making the same kind for the other seasons?
Absolutely!
How am I just now finding this!?!
I'm glad you are lol
Better Exceptions found this There is bad tuning in this mod: \midnitetech_CozyWinterMoments.package Possible Cause(Confidence: 100%) \midnitetech_CozyWinterMoments.package Reason Exception when applying action for loot midnitetech:CozyMoments_loot_Caroling_Tips(loot_actions=(,), run_test_first=False, tests=CompoundTestList([])) (ValueError: Trying to use SingleSimResolver with unsupported participant: ParticipantTypeSingle.SavedActor1)
I have been using it and it seems to work like it should but what do I know. Just thought you would like to know, if you don't already. Love the mod!
i love your mods
Thank you so much!

Perfect timing! It is Harvestfest in my game :)
Thank you so much for this. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays
The way this warmed my heart! I already love semi-interactive rabbit hole journeys that add immersion to our Sims gameplay, so to know that you--one of the coolest modders I know with amazing attention to details that add "the little things"-- went ahead and made a holiday rabbit hole mod and for free!!?!? It truly makes my heart happy...thank you so much. Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!! 💞☃️❄️
