Hi! I’m having trouble figuring out how to unlock Handwritten Hustlez and the Prose & Plumbob writing competitions. My Sim has a high Calligraphy skill, and I’ve checked the notebook, phone, computer, and mailbox, but none of the related options appear. I also have the latest version of the mod library installed. Could you please explain how these two features are supposed to be unlocked and accessed?

i love this mod but i am having a slight problem with finishing a book. My sim automatically stops writing a genre book and when i try to make them resume writing, the action cancels on its own. It only happens for genre categories i guess...i haven't checked the rest but it's okay for sub-genres. I don't know if something is conflciting.

I love that the notebook now gets sent to the Sim’s inventory when they’re done writing! No more disappearing notebooks! 🥳 When I have interactions queued up though, they disappear as soon as the Sim is done writing. Might it be that sending the notebook to the Sim’s inventory empties the interactions queue? I’m also using Turbodrive’s Interactions Queue Extender so maybe there’s some kind of conflict.

just flagging that there is no way for me to proof-read or publish anything with this mod? i think it may be the update.

I love everything about this mod, it’s so well thought out! The situational journal entries, the competitions and custom genres, the notebook covers… I’m still only halfway through the aspiration because Liberty can’t seem to "get the editor’s stamp of approval" but she’ll get there eventually! One issue I find a bit annoying is that Liberty keeps losing her notebook. I think I’ve bought her 5 or 6 notebooks already because they keep disappearing. I once found one in Travis’s inventory, but I’ve never found the others. Summer often has other Sims over so maybe those NPCs take Liberty’s notebooks. Do you think that’s what happens?

I just installed this mod, love the different options, however my bestselling author aspiration is no longer counting the books she publishes. Was working before this mod. Any suggestions?

Hi! Im not sure if youll see this but I was wondering if its not too much trouble, if you could add faster writing of your books and ea books? All the mods I found for it are outdated and either dont work or I believe they conflict or cause issues. I love your mods 🤍 maybe it could be like a seperate add on package if you can do it? how do you send break up letters? i have wrote 2 letters and i can`t send them,there is no option on the letter in inventory or on the mailbox in the Noteworthy Notebook section

Hi, I've written a manuscript, but I can't seem to send it via the postbox. I can see my book in the list, but it's still greyed out. What should I do ?

I'm having an issue with the notebook where my sim is refusing to continue the manuscript he's already started. Like he goes and sits down and gets the notebook out and then cancels the task every time. He won't even do it on the computer. He won't even scrap the book. I'm not sure whats going on.

Is this compatible with adeepindigo writing overhaul? :o

Hello! The same as Paige Smith who posted below, when I go to the mailbox to publish a book, the option is greyed out (to be clear, I'm looking under Book Publishing). Both Submit to the Kindling Collective and Self Publish options are greyed out. I have the updated NoteBook Noteworthy mod, as well as Lot 51, Mod Library and Write Books Overhaul. Please let me know if I'm missing anything!

I write manuscripts and go to the notebook on the mailbox to publish it, but the option is not there? I have all the required mods, the noteworthy notebook option is there but it only says send a postcard or donate to charity. How can I fix this?

Would it be possible to make it so we can keep a copy or buy a copy of the books we write? As an author I have a copy of every book I published and would love the same for my sim self

I'm having an issue with the mod. Overall, it works just fine, but when publishing a 'Notebook Original', the option doesn't appear, neither on the computer nor in the mailbox. Also, when my sim is writing a 'Genre Book', they almost finish it, but then can't finish it. I tried clicking on the notebook to continue, but it keeps on cancelling the interaction. This also happens on computers, too.

Hi! wondering if theres a feature in this mod that kind of lets one sim pass down notebook entries (like fish entries or plants from the vanilla notebook) down to another sim or a feature that somehow lets them share the data?

My sims get obsessed with practicing writing if the notebook is in their inventory. Is there a way to not have them do this?

What, no hockey romance genre- lol! This looks amazing- adds so much new game play. Can this co-exist alongside mods that modify the writer career - like AdeepIndigo's Writing Career Overhaul, or Kuttoe's Career Overhaul or will they conflict?

I can't seem to write book on the computer or transcribe manuscripts which prevents me from publishing book the normal way, wondering if this is normal

This seems like a pretty fun mod, but my sim wrote two books weeks ago in Sim time and she never got any money for it, and her postcard requests just either get ignored or she gets a postcard but it doesn't show up in her inventory. I'm about to do a 50/50 to check if a mod is interfering, but does anyone have any hints as to what might be going on? Thanks!

Loving this so far! The greeting cards are awesome. Curiosity question: The Kindling Collective - does it pay out? The "real life" similar niche has payouts. At the same time, my sim only has 2 published novellas so maybe I need to wait longer. Another curiosity: Kindling accepted her first "poor" quality books, rejected the later "excellent" quality books. Was this type thing on purpose or are the accepted books selected randomly? Thanks and keep up the good work.

I believe the previous version of this mod came with multiple files. Are those files unnecessary to have for this new version or do I still need them?

Oof, I've to rewrite my comment from scratch, because was too hyped to try this new version without reading the Notes (a bit ironic, yep) above. I think I've suggested, on the public Patreon page, to wait for a new release instead of downloading the current version, because I was meaning to both hype people (just I was hyped myself) toward the mod and to show some support on you, midny, implying that you were at work and the mod, albeit a bit buggy, definitely wasn't abandoned nor dead at all. I apologize if that "Note" paragraph was referring to me - really the intention wasn't about damaging you and your work in any way :( Obviously I'm going to remove my aforementioned comment if needed. And of course, just like in my too rushed and stupid "Aww, thanks!" first comment, I'd like to thank you for your effort, midny. Wish I could transform the spent tears in diamonds, but unfortunately I'm so broke "atm" that even the Patreon membership that I have now is a voice of my household economy that needs to be carefully planned/handled (that is to say, I'm surviving without a job by 2 years now, so I have to be stingy for a reason, sadly).
