22nd April 2026: Fixed a few typos & corrected the Recruiter career title, which was incorrectly showing as Realtor. Thank you to Trash Queen for letting me know!
6th April 2026: Updated to 32-bit instance IDs for the Royalty & Legacy dlc (prevents dropped careers). You will need to rejoin the career. If your Sim already had the career, a one-time LE may occur on the first load only. Make sure to delete the old version, as the file names have changed. Also fixed an error with Upload Project.
4th February 2026: Updated for the 2/3/2026 PC: 1.121.342.1030 / Mac: 1.121.342.1230 patch

May 26th, 2025: Added phone & computer interactions under Work/Career to let Sims change jobs within the same agency. Added a new file to my modlibrary script to auto-clear career history on quit—no more rejoining at the same level (fixes EA bug). Please grab the latest version of my mod library too.

Hello everyone!
My latest project is all ready for you to explore! This is a pack of 42 1-level careers, created to use for all your different Sims, who all need their own unique jobs. There are no promotions, but you do get a pay increase for good performance, work-from-home assignments, and daily tasks.
I've written countless buffs and a bunch of interactions. Although it's meant to fill a Sim's career, I wanted to flesh it out a little so that it would still be fun to play if you wanted to.
Here are the levels for you to peruse! (Medical Coder and Copywriter were added afterward)
I hope you have fun with it and are able to tell some great stories with your Sims!

This category isn't showing up when my sim looks for a job. Is there something else I need to do? I have the most recent version of the all-in-one download and newest modlibrary. Thank you! I love your mods.
If your sim has already been in the career before, it’ll appear as the last branch you chose.
I have both The Hobby Mod by MissyHissy and this Storytelling Career pack Mod, and I noticed that when I take out this mod, the archaeologist icon in the 'like/dislike' option in cas's hobbies & skills section disappears and defaults to a greyed-out llama, and also the words don't show either way. It seems like your mod adds an icon for the archaeology like/dislike for MissyHissy's hobby mod..I could be wrong; it's just what I have observed. Also, I'm assuming because tralfaz/s preferences plus revival adds the archaeology like/dislike, it will cause duplicates? (i know it's the archaeology icon because I previously had Tralfaz's Preferences Plus Revived mod & they used the same icon for archaeology, and i tested it without yours or missyhissy's mods). i also noticed that when i delete the hobby mod, the icon disappears completely like it was never there to begin with; then when i add it back without your mod, it's a greyed-out llama, then when I add your mod, the correct icon shows but the correct word to show what the icon actually is ('archaeologist') never appears at all. Sorry for the paragraph.
Hi JoJo! My Storytelling Career Pack doesn't include any Likes/Dislikes or preferences. I'm guessing you might not have Jungle Adventure? The archaeology icon is an EA resource. My Storytelling mod includes that icon, so it's available to players without the DLC, whereas it looks like MissyHissy's mod references the EA icon rather than including it. That would explain why the icon appears correctly when my mod is installed. The missing text is a separate issue, though, as the icon and the display name come from different resources. I'm afraid that's something you'd need to ask MissyHissy about, as my mod doesn't add or alter the archaeology preference itself. Hope that helps!

I can't seem to find the daily task anywhere on the nutritionist career, any idea why that might be?

Just got done playing through the web developer career! How fun! it feels like a part of the game instead of a mod. :) Thank you! Sims 4 careers were getting pretty stale.

Hi, either under Phone > Work, or Computer > Career. If you don't see the options, you may have missed one of the mod requirements listed above :)
For some reason my game does not allow me to contact the agency to switch careers. Any thought why this might be?
Hi mnt, I have a question with this particular set of careers. Will this mod conflict with Kiarasims career mods? Only ask because there are a few that are the same genre.
