Just a quick little mod I saw requested over at Sims4Studio, by Simmingly. It adds a new interaction to your Sims' phones, under Entertainment so they can doomscroll to their hearts' content! It boosts their fun and even their Social need for Loner/Socially Awkward Sims!

Hi! I'm wondering if there is an option for Sims to do this autonomously? I imagine a super realistic mode where Sims wake up in the morning and doomscroll or sit on the couch and do it maybe when fun or social is really low? If this mod already has this, sorry.

Such a cool idea! Does it give any moodlets? If not, is this something you might consider? I’m going too far, too soon with this, but: What about thematic scrolling with different effects? For instance, one Sim may want to browse cat pics or videos while another is doomscrolling the news. The first Sim could have a chance to get a "cuteness overload" moodlet that makes them want to adopt a cat, or to become sad after reading stories about cats gone too soon. Meanwhile, the second Sim could have a chance to become sad or bored because the news is often depressing or repetitive, or to get a more positive moodlet — something like "be the change" that makes them want to make good deeds like be friendly to other Sims or give to charity, or something like "could be worse" because they’ve realized that their own problems aren’t as big a deal as they thought. That sounds like a lot of work but it’s just a suggestion!
It includes a couple, but yes, I can add some thematic scrolling! It would probably mean a rename of the mod, as doomscrolling tends to cover negative stuff. If you can fill in a form on my website with your ideas, that would be great!

Hi! Im sorry if this comments isn’t allowed here but the comments on the SimU post were disabled. I was wondering if SimU was compatible with the custom degrees mod by Zero like if you could take the custom degrees through SimU.
Hi, they're compatible in the sense that you can use them both together, but I haven't added other degrees into the mod. I can though, if you'd like?
