Renowned Ideas — Choose 2 community item ideas to be made!

Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Birds-eye Bolt — When fired overhead, this piece of ammunition bursts into feathers and can be used to briefly survey an area from above.

2) Seer's Sling — A sling with charges that can imbue its ammunition with divination magic. Expending those charges allows you to mentally receive visual information from where the stone bullets land.

3) Captain's Wright — A staff carved from the mast of a sunken ship. You can use it to link yourself to a vehicle to gain several benefits, like knowing how damaged it is, make Perception checks from is location when you are within a mile of it, or expend hit dice to repair it.

4) Pin Pal — You can attune to this plush doll by pricking yourself on a needle that comes with it. It takes on your likeness and can be controlled mentally like a familiar, and also allows you to succeed on a single death saving throw each day.

5) Scorpio Armor  — Dark chitinous armor crafted from a scorpion that grants advantage of Stealth checks made in dim light or darkness. Attuning to it gives you advantage on saves against poison and tremorsense.

6) Chuul Shell Hand Charm — Hand jewelry made of small shells connected by green and gold chains. It retains some magic properties from a Chuul that allows you to sense magic within a wide range. 

7) Late Night Smoker — A stiletto dagger concealed in an elegant smoking pipe that acts as a sheath. You can attempt to quickly fling ashes from the pipe to blind a creature within range, or draw the dagger as a bonus action.
