Elite Workshop Day 2 — Let's make something you'd find on a boat lost at sea!

These are loose item ideas based on the suggestions from yesterday's direction poll. Some of these may have had their ideas adjusted or combined with other like-minded suggestions. The final product may or may not use the original wording, so these are the core of the items' functionality and flavor.

Ideas

Submerged Reins — A heavy necklace that allows you to conjure a magical horse with a swimming speed that can choose to run on water. You can also use the necklace to force a nearby creature to hold their breath once a day, potentially drowning them even if you aren't underwater.

Bottled Ship — A ship in a glass bottle with a wax seal. When you submerge the bottle and open it in the sea, the ship emerges from below you with a crew of 20 unseen servants that can control the direction of the ship and manage its sails. If the ship runs aground, it's returned to the bottle.

Forecaster's Gauge — A magical weather gauge that, when filled with a precipitant, can be emptied in a space to magically prevent more of that precipitant from falling in a large radius around the space. For example, emptying rain water on a space will prevent an area from being rained on in a storm. Usable once a day.

Unfaltering Foghorn — A large horn inlaid with giant runes. You can blow into the horn to release a deafening sound audible out to 600 feet, alerting any creature nearby of your location and waking ones that are asleep. It also magically disperses any fog, cloud, or similar atmospheric effect within that range, as if dispersed with a gust of wind. Usable once a day.

Sea Wizard's Map — A magical sheet of parchment that, when submerged underwater, will give a sonar-like indication of the surrounding waters, potentially alerting you to any landmasses or underwater structures in a 10-mile radius of your location. Usable once a day.
