Renowned Ideas — Choose 2 community item ideas to be made!

Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Potion of Accuracy — An extraordinary potion highly valued for its ability to improve one’s aim. When you drink this concoction of herbs you gain a bonus to attack rolls for 1 minute based on the potions rarity (up to +3). A legendary variant has a duration of 1 hour instead.

2) Cavalry's Bane — You gain a bonus to attack and damage with this pike, and attacks made against mounted targets have advantage. You can use it to cast the blade barrier spell centered on the weapon, however the wall is spectral copies of the pike and does not provide three-quarters cover to creatures behind it.

3) Ballroom Breaker — An elegant ballroom mask that grants a bonus to Charisma (Persuasion) checks made between dawn and dusk, and can be used to magically create and wear a formal outfit during the same time.

4) Choker of Many Voices — This silvery choker is made of a weird stretchy material with a phrase written on it in multiple languages. While you wear this choker you can perfectly imitate an accent that you have heard before, in a language that you know.

5) Beard Cannon — This iron ball-like contraption can be concealed within a creature’s beard once attuned. As an action, you can shout its command word to have it consume 1 inch of beard hair to be a shot of razor-sharp bristles at an enemy, as is casting the magic missile spell.

6) Dragon Horn Pauldron — A large dragon horn pauldron that can protect against certain elemental damage. You gain a bonus to AC and can use its charges when you make a Dexterity saving throw to take half damage from a spell or magic effect or none if the type of damage matches the color of the dragon the horn was harvested from.

7) Clockwheel Fiddle — A hurdy gurdy made from the parts of a clock. Playing a special note from it records some of your stats and allows you to return to the recorded state at a moment of your choosing.
