Renowned Ideas — Choose 2 community item ideas to be made!

Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Ideas

1) Blood Bound Forgery — A magical fountain pen that can carry ink and blood. While it's carrying blood, your handwriting matches that of the person whose blood is stored inside the pen. 

2) Colored Contacts — A pair of magical contact lenses that allow you to change the color of your eyes' irises and pupils. In addition, any shades of gray you see in dim light appear in shades of your eye's color, instead.

3) Scare-coat — A magical hooded longcoat that allows you to slip in and out of it while it remains stationary, floating in place, until you return to it and slip it back on. While floating, it moves slowly, as if it's still worn.

4) False Knob — A brass doorknob that can be stuck to any flat surface. While stuck, the doorknob creates the illusion of a door on the surface the knob is on. When turned, the knob feels as though it's locked.

5) Weave Reaper — A magical scythe that can be used to trade in your Hit Dice for additional necrotic damage, as well as siphoning spell slots from a spellcaster hit by it and granting you a magic-canceling barrier.

6) Helm of the Spelldrinker — A magical helmet that gives you advantage on spell saving throws and disadvantage to enemy spell attack rolls against you. You can use it to cast the antimagic field spell once a day.

7) Khopesh of the Viper — A magical blade from a serpent's fang that deals bonus poison damage on each hit. On critical hits, the target can become paralyzed and take extra poison damage.
