Heroic Ideas — Choose 2 community item ideas to be made!

Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You can submit your ideas on Discord, too! Come join us in the #patron-item-workshop channel!

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Swindler's Chest — A decorative chest that uses illusionary magic to disguise or hide the contents inside by turning it different directions before opening.

2) Tricorn of the Ever-Ready Sharpshooter — A dark navy blue tricorn that is decorated with two eagle eye gemstones in the brim. You gain a bonus to your initiative rolls and can't be surprised while conscious. You can also speak the command word to temporarily create a magnifying effect that gives you a bonus when you ready an attack.

3) Wonder Wall — This small tile is painted with whimsical depictions of meadows and beaches. You can tap the rune on the side of the tile to expand it up to a 5 foot by 5 foot wall.

4) Valiant Pal — A stuffed lion plush that casts the calm emotions spell on you when you hug it. Once used, it can't be used again for a few days.

5) Guiding Lightpost — A wayfinding post that magically protects any pinned notes or bills from the weather. Storing a map in a small compartment creates a glowing ball of light that can guide you up to 1 mile as long as you pay it with coins.

6) Goodshrub Seed — A smooth, dark seed that can be planted and watered, creating an awakened shrub. The shrub is friendly to you and produces magical berries that function as if created by the goodberry spell.

7) Windup Simulacrum of Arcane Inspiration — A clockwork owl companion for spellcasters that grants a bonus to Intelligence (Arcane) checks. Tapping its head activates the owl, allowing you to cast an unprepared spell that you know, up to 3rd level, until your next long rest.

Keep on adventuring!
