Ranger: Rancher | New Subclass!

A ranger that transforms their home into a sanctuary for creatures may be a Rancher. These stewards of powerful creatures, typically beasts of burden, adopt a lifestyle and culture to match that of the creatures which they protect. A Rancher guards and guides their allies in equal measure, without shying away from adversity or cunning tactics.

• Summon a mount and (optionally) use revised and simplified mount rules!

• Interact with a wider variety of creatures with your Animal Handling!

• Use cunning, underhanded techniques with a variety of different weapons!

• Recognize animals with ease and support your party like a pack leader!

• Land critical hits more easily when you have the advantage!

Since not all subclasses are tied to a specific setting in Saddlebag Year 6, consider the following pre-existing settings to align this with.
