Bard: College of Perfumers | New Subclass!
Balance update changelogs are listed at the bottom of the post.
—
A bard of the College of Perfumers can grasp the attention of anyone around them without saying a single word. By manipulating the powerful sense of smell, these bards can create equally powerful effects that control, overpower, and shock those around them.
Cast a unique array of poison and gaseous spells!
Use your Bardic Inspiration to create an Enchanted Perfume, whose abilities get better over time!
Overwhelm enemies with powerful scents, enhancing your bardic spells!
Modify your poison spray cantrip, turning it into a highly customizable effect with an array of properties that can help control a wide variety of scenarios! Options include:
Poisoning Spray (poisons)
Revolting Spray (makes creatures gag)
Slowing Spray (slows creatures)
Volatile Spray (makes creatures explode when hit with fire)
Since not all subclasses are tied to a specific setting in Saddlebag Year 6, consider the following pre-existing settings to align this with.
Aelorynne
Antronec
Breezeport
Crest City
Feasts, Festivals, and Taverns
Halcyon Drop
Mysteries of the Border Ethereal
Orostead
Polaris
The Mountain of Gold
The Safire Wood
Val Linsen

Update v1.1
Added a mechanic to handle 5.5's poison spray mechanic as an attack roll instead of saving throw. Now it always uses a save if you use the Poisoned Perfumes option, regardless of what system you're using.
