Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Mage Slayer’s Aegis — This large shield has intricate teeth patterns around its edges. While attuned to it, you gain a bonus when making a spell saving throw, and can potentially regain hit points based on the level of spell cast against you.

2) Armor of the Grotesque — This stone-like armor is adorned with ghoulish motifs. You can doff the armor as an action, giving it wings and flying off to a point within 30 feet of you where it transforms into a gargoyle under your control for 1 hour.

3) Wrath’s Bounty — This heavy coin grants you advantage on checks to gather information or track your quarry. You can focus your senses to learn the general direction of your mark and gain a bonus in combat against it. The coin always returns to you if you ever part or lose it before you eliminate your mark.

4) Ambitious Medic’s Badge — A magical badge etched with a raven feather and herb sprig. Wearing it replaces any lost limbs with blue, rubbery replacements. You gain bonuses to Medicine checks, know the prestidigitation and spare the dying cantrips with some modifications, can restore hit points to other creatures using your Hit Dice, and determine other creatures' creature types and health status.

5) Flail of the Wild Elements — This flail has been enchanted to harness surges of chaos. When you enter a rage, you roll a die to determine which damage type the flail deals and the effect the target suffers if you hit it twice on the same turn, such as: reduced movement speed, unable to take reactions, or being deafened.

6) Arcane Vellum — A roll of magical vellum used to wrap small objects, which can also be written on to display a short message. Once wrapped, you can speak a creatures name to have the vellum and object fold into a tiny envelope and teleport to the recipient as long as they are on the same plane.

7) Dollhouse of Dreams — A hand crafted dollhouse that can replicate the inside of a known building. It can transform into a perfect replica of a building, control certain small objects in it, or allow you to see and interact with the known building via a spectral summoned toy.
