Matador's Blade
Weapon (rapier or shortsword), uncommon (requires attunement by a bard)
You are proficient with this weapon while you're attuned to it. If you expended a use of your Bardic Inspiration since the start of your last turn and are holding this sword, you can use your reaction when a creature within 5 feet of you targets you with an attack. When you do, the attack roll is made with disadvantage; if the attack misses, you can immediately make an opportunity attack with the sword against the creature.
Matador's Pride. If you are also attuned to the matador's cape and are forced to make a saving throw against being frightened, you can choose to make a Charisma saving throw instead.
And red will be the last thing you see.

The problem with this item is that bards are no longer proficient with rapiers; they're only proficient with simple weapons. *Note: I disagree with this, and house rule finesse weapons into their proficiencies, but that's no longer RAW.
I added that proficiency to the first line of the item!
Really nice detailing on the scabbard and the horns were definitely a nice touch 馃憤
Thanks, David!
