Rocco made a joke about Jane Austen's Period Drama ("eww!") and Shawn made it seem all prestigey, but it really is a short about Jane Austen's period 🩸
Woah! Back to back! The patreon has been so good to us lately
I had pretty much the exact opposite experience. Loved Marty Supreme and found this one not really for me. I actually did find this one a bit too, as Rocco said it, "misery porn". Perhaps "grief porn" is the better term here. Very raw display of grief but it just didn't make it a fun watch for me. However, phenomenal ending. Also liked Train Dreams a lot more.
Worst child death was that one nationwide Super Bowl commercial about the kid being like “I’ll never learn to ride a bike…cuz I died”
Rocco just sold me on Marriage Story cause i assumed from the viral clips back in the day it would be a miserable experience
Yeah, I was surprised by how much I liked this one. The 'fever' scene with Hamnet was a little too much for me to take, but otherwise I thought it was exceptional overall.
