March 17th / 18th patch 😖 - updated

Hi, Simmers!

After today's patch some players are unable to have CC and Mods being read by the game. Please, play offline for now and wait for a fix before you update your game.

EA just shared this on their X profile:

"We’re investigating reports that some Mods & CC are not loading in The Sims 4. The team is actively looking into this now & will share any updates to help you get back to using your favorite content as soon as possible.

We're collecting reports & sharing updates"

UPDATE MARCH 18th:

EA claims that they fixed the Mods & CC issue however, we read reports of people having serious problems (black screen) and unable to load their games at all even without mods.

EA fixed the issue with Mods & CC. But if you use Scripted Mods, wait until your Mods devs update their Scripted Mods. The game is being very bugged with old Mods.

Regular CC (objects, clothes, hairs, makeup, etc) seems to be working correctly.

Anyway, we still suggest to wait a bit more since some Scripted mods are outdated at this moment.
