Hey all. Just a small update - Discord support has finally come through and returned control of the server to us just a few minutes ago. Obviously there's... not much left. It's late right now, but Lady Grove and I will begin reconstruction in the morning and hopefully have more of a fanfare announcement when it is fully operational again.
I am cautiously optimistic that the hacker issues are done now, but we are still proceeding cautiously. We'll have more updates for you soon.
Thank you to all of you who have given up support in this frustrating time.

Thank you to all of you who sent through screen grabs and message links. You've helped us make a good case for the Discord Support, and kept us abreast of what is going on with the server itself.
As many of you have noticed, the hacker (who I've been chatting to, they're quite the dipshit) has erased / hidden most of the channels and changed the name of the server, which is actually a boon in my eyes as it helps highlight to everyone that it has been compromised. Since Discord support is dragging their feet about this (and could take days or weeks to act) we're going to go ahead with the new server, once we've got a bit of breathing room from the animation we're working on. Again a big thanks to you all, and we'll let you know once we have any more info to announce.
UPDATE 2:
Massive thanks to everyone who sent us screengrabs of the server in its current state. It looks like those who commented below are right - despite the threats the server has not been deleted, just everyone who had any authority (mods etc) have been removed. I'm working with Discord Support about this, and we'll see how it all plays out.
In the meantime, if anyone has the ability can you please send through a DM to either myself (begrove) or Lady Grove (ladygrove) with a "message link" to one of the comments made on the server (on PC you right click any message, then click "Copy Message Link" then paste it in a DM to us). Even though we're blocked this will give us the current server code that will help in escalating things with support.

Some people are saying noting that for them the server still appears to exist. Talking to Discord support, they need some information to proceed with this - can one of you please:
Send me a screengrab of how the server looks now (you can send it to litch@begrove.com or post a link to the image in the comments)
Try to interact with the server - just post a "hello" message or something. This may indicate whether the server still exists for real or if it is just a ghost remnant of chached info.
Those of you who use Discord may have opened it up this morning to find something missing. A hole, both in the soul, and your regular server list.
Well last night around 1am I was contacted by the a$$hole hacker who has made this week a living hell for us. He threatened to delete the server unless I responded, to which I responded by continuing to sleep with my Discord notifications disabled as I do every night.
By 3am they decided enough was enough and blew their load, deleting our server completely.
After talking to Discord support, they have put in very kind and considerate words "y'all f*cked". So now it is a matter of rebuilding! We've re-established a new server, with a lofty membership of 2 (Lady Grove and myself) and will be re-forming it to be as close to the original as we can. An invite for it will come out once the basic elements are in place
A massive thanks to everyone who has been supportive and helpful throughout this process. This is obviously not the result we wanted from this kerfuffle, particularly since we're also trying to get through all the month's rewards at the same time. To wit - we will be releasing Sweater Stretcher Reward #1 soon, so Patrons keep your eyes open for that.
And just remember - they can remove the scaffolds of our community - but the heart remains. From that strength we shall rebuild anew - bigger, better and boobie-er.

I'm pretty sure the server has been converted into someone's personal Minecraft server called "Sweetie Craft". I never asked to be a part of this Discord server and it's in my "Adult" folder of servers in Discord, so I'm assuming it must be your old server.
I can confirm that's the case thanks to all the screenshots that have been shared with me.
the hacker is also promoting some sketchy ass shit. Probably hoping to snare other people. Hopefully this will help make the case too.

XD I've been wondering for days what's been going on as they keep pinging announcements, so I noticed the group had changed because of that(I don't normally pay much attention to it, not any fault of the group itself, just my attention gets split elsewhere most of the time). They pinged again today without even having anything up, but it looks like they've allegedly turned it into a Minecraft server, but no way am I clicking on their link to find out!
Wise! We now have it back and will be setting things back as they should be ASAP!
To everyone still in the server, I would suggest holding tight, the hacker nuked everything and is advertising for a minecraft server of things, they obviously are the scum of the earth but please keep informed with Bluesky and this post and please send any screen shots to ( litch@begrove.com ) as asked in their post, FIGHT THE HACKER
Hold fast for what? It is now literally impossible to view or post anything in the server other than the actor announcements. Along with the announcement above saying that they're going to be opening the new server at some point might as well just leave.
All channels got nuked today and it was rebranded to sweetiecraft

someone made announcement in the server at around 8am bst I've screenshotted it seems there trying to get people from your server to their sever, interesting note is its the same account from the bugs channel

Okay that server is gone for good. Every channel is locked to threads only, and they send a fishing link for a Minecraft server

Almost 6800 people still in the 'old' server. And all that amazing content sharing gone. (Fffffargin hacker). All that's left is the Bug Reporting channel and it seems messages get randomly deleted. I hope all is well with the new server and I am wondering if you suggest just leaving the old one on leu of waiting for the new link
We are still talking to Discord support and are hopeful we can get back what we've built.
If someone checks bugs report in the server. The hacker outed themselves. That discord user is the thief. Maybe send it to Lady Grove or one of the other admins. I purposefully baited them into revealing themselves but thus I'm now removed. So now is your chance to help out.

I was on the server earlier, but left (will rejoin if you somehow get it back) after seeing this post. Was wondering why the SFW general chat was gone. Had a feeling the coward hackers were still around. They need to do the world a massive favor and just hang themselves... I wish you good luck on either getting the server back, or making the new one!
Thanks we will need the luck. The sfw chat is where everyone was talking about the hack so it was probably easier for them to delete the whole thing than each individual message.
I've gone ahead and left the server again for now, just to be on the safe side. Here's hoping this gets taken care of, getting real sick of people messing with what's not theirs!
I am with you there. If the hacker just applied themselves in a constructive manner the world would be better but this is not that!
Can't they at the very least obliterate the channel itself? Especially since that you are the rightful owner? I dunno it just feels like they are actively enabling predatory practices like this by not doing anything about it, other than telling the victims of these awful situations that they're sol and that theres very little to nothing that u or even them can do about it. EDIT- Judging from others on this thread and my own experience. It seems like they hav effectively kicked u out of your discourse channel. I honestly dunno why its still up
Yes the mods and the groves have been banned from the server - anyone with authority to do anything is out.
If I had to guess, I'd think you were targeted by dark web hackers, those people don't mess around, but in my opinion, those scumbags deserve for their setup to blow

I would recommend enforcing MFA for all users that have admin access to the discord server
This hack was clever enough that it probably wouldn't have saved us but we've definitely made sure we've got all the security set up we can now.
Honestly what did that hacker even want from B.E Grove to goes as far as hacking the discord server anyways, seem to be a bit overkill for the hacker to go that far. I Hope you get justice

The discord was open to free members too, right?
It was public but there were some patron exclusive channels.

In the future you can create a template of servers and restore those if this ever happens again to you (hopefully it won't) it would significantly decrease the time and effort needed to remake the server

Damn, you know you’re not the only one to get hacked. A bunch of people like streamers have been targeted these last few weeks. Supposedly it’s a group targeting discords
