Manual updates coming soon
Hello everyone. I'll update the manuals sections with all the Soviet Il-2 manuals when I release the next Il-2 video. I'm hoping that will be in the next two weeks.

There are a lot of claims about which airplane was the first to break the sound barrier in a dive, I think most are B.S. but it's impossible for me to prove or disprove any of them. Some of the planes that have claims to this from primary sources are the P-38 and Me 262. I don't think either one really did it, and certainly not the 38.
Greg, this is not about a Soviet Il-2, however I can't create a new post. Last night CSPAN ran a 1953 official USAF film on the 'history of the Air force.' In the part about Yeager breaking the sound barrier, the narrator says, twice, 'the first time in level flight, not in a dive.' I have heard noise for decades about someone breaking the barrier in a dive, in a P 80 I think. I have disregarded it as noise. In 1953, the air force said someone did. I recorded the bit on my phone as a record. Greg, if you did a video on this, with source material, YT might break.
Hi Greg. The link I bookmarked to shared manuals don’t work anymore (get 404 from google docs). Could you share it again? The link I find on Patreon is for the entry level, I subscribe at the “captain” level. Thanks for all your work. Love the videos.
If you log in on the PC web version of Patreon the working link to the google drive should be pinned at the top, I just accessed all of the manuals with no issues. (For some reason it doesn’t seem to show up on the mobile app version of Patreon, no clue why…)
