I'm Back
Greetings everyone. I'm now fully recovered and re qualified on the 767. Since I was out for 6 months all my aviation currency expired, except my Cat 2, Cat 3 qualifications. Anyway, I had to focus on training and checkrides for a while, but now everything is back to normal.
The next video should be up tomorrow. It's a long video about the B-26. I'll talk about why it's perceived as being so slow, dangerous and expensive. It's actually a pretty fascinating airplane and a war winning machine.
The B-26 never really got the glory it should have. It was always overshadowed by the B-25 largely because of the Doolittle raid, and when the Marauder did have it's time to shine, sadly, almost nobody noticed. I'll cover that in the video as well.
I appreciate every one of who who waited for me to recover from surgery and career stuff. I have quite a back log of questions here and on youtube. The ones on youtube are not going to be addressed, but all the ones here will of course be answered.
Thanks,
Greg
