Quick updated on the B-26 video.
It seems these videos never end up the way I planned them at the start. The B-26 is a really complicated airplane to talk about, partially because I haven't talked about multi-engine flying all that much on this channel, so there is a lot to cover.
The video will focus mainly on the plane's speed and safety issues related to multi-engine flying. Those two subjects alone are more than enough to fill one video. I'll probably leave the other aircraft systems and the plane's combat record for another video.

The 1976 documentary "Spitfire!" has footage of Stanley Hooker at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPoCU5FeUKc
Looking forward to the B-26 video...?
Mr Hooker was an engineer that started on the Merlin and then went on to work with RRs jet engine program. His appendices to the book contain methods to convert jet thrust to horsepower as well as to determine engine horsepower from fuel flow and other factors.
Hi Greg- I’ve just finished Stanley Hooker’s Not Much of an Engineer. I think you’d find it both interesting and useful.
I am really looking forward to the video. I have always thought the B-26 was a beautiful airplane, especially in it's early iterations. Even given the, I assume, high stall speed and high Vme, I have wondered why these have not had the same legacy as B-25s, A/B-26s, and other similar US medium bombers. Hoping to learn more from your upcoming video!
Greg, I appreciate the fact that you give complex subjects the full airtime that they deserve, over many videos if need be. I'm sure most of your viewers feel the same. The attention to important details and complete lack of "close enough, it'll do, just get it out there for the views" attitude is a big part of why I decided to sign up to the patreon. Cheers, Chris
Thank you for your continued interest and diligence in your efforts. I certainly am!
So far your instincts on such matters have been 🎯
