I should have the Whithead vs. Wrights video up Soon
I hope to get this video up today or tomorrow. It's a quick and pretty easy video to make.
I understand that some of you want more WW2 stuff, don't worry, that's coming as well.
Please understand that it's not only people on youtube pushing these myths about early flight, it's documentaries on mainstream TV, in some cases our own govt. specifically that of Connecticut, and Jane's Aircraft although I heard they recanted.
Somebody has to stand up to this and it's going to be me. I'm not especially happy about it but I'm going to do it and hopefully others will join me.

I’m in! Even have my own pitchfork and torch to help shut down the ignorant!
I read up on the pretenders (claimants?) for a writing project I was working on over a decade ago. It is immediately obvious to any experienced pilot or aero engineer that none of them would have been in any way controllable. Shame on "Janes", they certainly should have known better. It has been a long time, but as I recall, the evidence is weak that Whitehead even finished building his machine, let alone actually flying it.
Greg, "Somebody has to stand up to this and It's going to be me". This is the real reason I decided to support your channel above many others that provide similar content. I can tell that thru the enthusiasm for aviation, there is a greater enthusiasm for truth. Unfortunately, today everything is becoming political to include what kind of stoves you cook your food on, gas or electric. Alas, this is nothing new. There is an old Russian proverb that says "For us Russians the future is certain, it's the past that remains undetermined.". Revisionist history is a great crime against the real progress of mankind and it's being perpetrated on a mass scale today. Best, Clarke
David McCullough wrote an excellent book on the Wright Brothers. It really is extraordinary what they had to do just to make their first aircraft and then fly it.
Variety is the spice of life. I know the WWII stuff is your bread & butter, hut it’s interesting to hear what else you get into.
I found the previous Wrights videos fascinating. What struck me was just how far ahead they were, and how mature their capabilities were compared to other pioneers
I'll come right out and say it. The first video you did about the Wrights back a while ago is one of my favorites on this excellent channel. I go back and listen to it again like every 4 months or so. I also played it in the car with my dad on a long trip and he really enjoyed it too. The 2nd one comparing other early pioneers in flight was a also very good, but with his much more visual it was I've only watched it twice. I often watch your content while doing something else, but if I need to look at the visuals a lot to follow, I'll stop and wait until I get home to do it cause I don't want to lose track of the concepts etc.
