Ki-84 video is going up tomorrow at 8:30AM Central Time
The new Ki-84 video is going up tomorrow morning at 8:30AM Central time. If I'm doing the math right, in Frankfurt that's 15:30PM and in Tokyo it's 23:30PM.
It's a long video, over one hour. The focus is on the design of the plane. Performance and combat history will be in the next episode, probably coming next week. Since I can't go to work, I'm making more progress than usual on these videos.
Hopefully you like the Ki-84 videos. This one is one of the more difficult Japanese airplanes to cover. The manuals and data will be in the updated drive next week.
I'm curious to see how the Ki-84 videos does. If it does well, I may move the Ki-44 video up a bit.

1 ata should be 980,665 mbar. According to DIN 1301 there are two different outdated pressure units: atmosphere in the physics sense atm: 1,01325 Bar technical atmosphere ata/atü(absolute/relative): 0.980665 Bar or 1m water column at g=9,80665 It is equivalent to 1 kilopond or kilogram force per square centimeter. As that was the standard German unit of force before the Newton, technical atmosphere was easy to calculate with.
Wow, thanks Kilian.
Thanks Greg, looking forward to it. Hope you’re recovering and feeling better soon.
Thanks for the hard work. I love the long video formats, goes great with a nice mixed drink or IPA.
Oooooo a whole hour to delay doing weekend chores! Thank you Greg, this is truly a selfless gift😃
Great news,I'm really happy to hear that. Ki-44 will be good to listen to. All the best and get back to shape.
