The P-63 King Cobra won that poll, but not by much.
The total was 52 to 48 percent in favor of the King Cobra. All in all that's pretty close. The Macchi actually won on youtube by 5 percent, but it's you, my dear patreon members that count.
I'm starting on the P-63 video right away.

Hey Greg, since you were going to do the P 63 mid engine fighter is there a chance that you’ll do something about the Piaggio P119 in the future?
It would have been interesting to see how the P39 and the P63 would have performed if actually equipped with a turbo as originally designed.
Can’t wait, always thought the P-63 was a fascinating airplane
The Macchi is cool, but it’s a pretty conventional fighter compared to the P-63. I think the more interesting airplane won.
Covering either airplane will be great - Not every video can be on the 'big ticket' planes IMO, there is value on covering the more obscure ones (and with obscure comes less 'viewership' - so to speak).
Regardless of what AC you cover, we all know the video you do will be top notch Greg. Thanks for your time and effort!
Looking forward to both.
Thanks for letting us vote, Greg. Your channel is an oasis of excellence in a sea of mediocrity.
Either way the video is going to be fantastic. Its a win win imo
Sir, I know you got a lot on your plate, and plans to cover more obscure WW2 aircraft, so i hate to add to your plate. But, are you considering, at some point, of covering more in depth, early jets? I would be very interested in the technical aspects, construction/theory of jet engines, jet fuel, early airborne radars, ect.
Voted Macchi in both and still lost! Either way though, it's a win. Loads of good air history channels out there, but none that go into the details like you do, I look forward to the P-63!
Go with your gut….
