Almost done with two new videos.

Channel Update. I'm almost done with the Macchi C.200 video. With any luck it will be up in a day or two. I'm not sure how well videos on Italian airplanes will do, but I'm about to find out. If it does well and I'll make more.

I have heard that the release of Aces of Thunder is close. I'm going to put up a video that showcases the P-47 D-23RE, as well as the A6M3 and Fw190 A4, which are three of my favorites in the sim. It's a good entry level sim, enough complexity to be fun, but simply enough so anyone can learn it and be in combat in no time. I taught my granddaughter to fly it in about 10 mins. She likes to put around Hawaii in the Thunderbolt. She can take off, fly and land although with some damage. The point it, it's not like DCS which requires dozens of hours to become proficient, Aces of Thunder is aimed at a big market, which I think will be good for WW2 aviation history.

Oh, and I have tested the David Vizard Turbo on my Ford Mustang. It's working well so I'll put out an update on that.

I hope you find material for a great series about the Italian fighters! Certainly their publication record in English is not great. I bought a few books, but technical background stories are sadly absent. Lots of great pictures accompanied by the briefest of accounts…

I love the Italian fighters. They were so hampered by engine a material problems but may wonderful designers. They have a talent for shape. They and the russian engineers are so talented only to be let down by quality and engine metallurgical shortcomings . Love the Romanian and polish prepare designs also especially the iar80 and the pzl24.looking forward to the upcoming g video

One reason to watch is that there are so few videos on the Macchi C.200. There are so many on the ME262, fascinating though it is.

Your story about your granddaughter reminds me of the Thanksgiving when I spent a few hours learning how to play Aces of the Pacific at my uncle's house, sometime in the early 90s. Turned me into a WWII flight sim guy on the spot!

MC.200 is the coolest of all the spaghetti fighters. Must have been something fighting those in an open cockpit for Italians on the eastern front. I flew my Yak into Old Rhinebeck yesterday for an Aircraft Doodles YouTube piece and thought of you.

I would love to see more videos on Italian aircraft, particularly the interwar biplanes. The wartime designs are also interesting as the different manufacturers' planes all look very similar.

Thank you for videos especially on kind of obscure topics. Playing War Thunder the last 10 years through bring a teenager and adult it showed me way more about minor nations then I ever knew and peaked my interest in them. I might be a minority but japanese and Italian videos Ill gladly watch and learn
