This is a short video and a preview of what I'm working on. As a bonus it features a lot of footage from a new simulator that will likely hit the market this year. I was granted early pre-Beta access.
One of the problems when writing about Japanese airplanes is the huge discrepancy in performance stats from one source to another. In this video I'll talk about how I arrived at what will likely be the controversial decision to go with the higher numbers in this case.

Completely irrelevant, wacky question I’ll throw out to all. A few WW II fighters had combat flaps for turn performance. Did any have Maule-like negative flaps for reduced induced drag at high speed/cruise?
