Slightly off topic but there are a couple of things often mentioned in passing but, as far as I know, have never been explained fully. Firstly the effect of windmilling on radial engines and the requirement of a certain MP with regards to prop speed. I believe it's to do with the placement of big end journal oil transfers. The second is the order of movement of prop and throttle levers. "Revs up, throttle back" as the saying goes. I've tried but I can't get my head around how this can cause problems. Perhaps a little aside in one of your videos to explain things?

+Greg, my son and I have had a long-term debate about the utility of guns/cannons on modern fighters. He argues that once the missiles are fired, adversary squadrons have a closing speed so great that they will be in gun range about the time it becomes known what damage was inflicted by the missiles, so gun fights are potentially close to inevitable. We would love your thoughts. Loved the new video, too!

Growling Sidewinder has had some fun videos in the past with piston engine planes vs jets, as you said Greg these old warbirds are still formidable if people try to turn fight or use bad tactics. As good as your flying is in the Jug was, the other guys were making a lot of costly errors.
