Upcoming Lindbergh Range Video
I'm working on video about Charles Lindbergh's exploits in the Pacific as they pertain to aircraft range. It's a technical video, I'm not going to get into the whole ethical discussion about a civilian flying combat missions, or Lindbergh's thoughts on Germany, Eugenics or the death of his son. I have thoughts on those topics, and how they fit into his actions in WW2, but they don't really fit into the channel.
Focusing on range, I have found that I have to talk a lot about air:fuel ratios and as I worked on the video I ended up going pretty deep on this, all the way down to the atomic level. The result is that it just doesn't work as a video. Thus, I'm going to release a video about fuel mixture aka Air Fuel Ratios that's a standalone video but will help when I then release the Lindbergh video. Also, I'll have a DCS video P-47 vs. jets just for fun.

I just watched your Lindburgh video -- excellent work. Conformed my suspicions that he didn't invent anything that wasn't already in their manuals, and agree with your explanation as to why pilots hadn't been using the information they already had. I appreciated your reference to the P-47N at towards the end. Can you give the references for the documents you showed at that point? Again, love your work.
If you are going into air-fuel ratio’s, Savvy Aviation on you tube has some pretty good videos, it would be good to expand on that ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCc-IpamUhzvGsAfMzH2lIcA (look for the "lean of peak" videos) ). If you would also include some of the NACA stuff on the topic you would have a real winner, similar to the turbo-compound video you made that did so well.
