UPDATE 3 more Anime Spots
edit* https://yaboyrocklee.com/schedule/
Folks are asking thinkings like what about Konosuba?
Like…i wrote the schedule is updated. You just have to look at it rather than ask and wait for an answer hahaha
First…bodied my kid in chess…i later found out the wife was in chess club when she was younger. Lol. My whole marriage has felt like a chest match and i see why…
I won though cuz 🧍♂️…lol
The schedule is updated. I have room for 3 ANIMES this. This includes saving space for MHA & Demon Slayer
Kaijo No. 8 is strong consideration from what i hear.
Misfit is a firm NO.
We didnt finish season 2.
Was confused most of the time.
The irregular at magic school was a patreon only as its copyright strict.
Right now i am working on shows that post both on YouTube and patreon and will see what we have room for once we are settled.
At some point i would prioritize Irregular At Magic School over a mid Anime if thats whats left.
Also its a duo spot. AdorkableNerd never seen it.
I have limited time there. We will see.
I currently added western live action into the steady rotation which also is why you’re not seeing movies regularly.
Shogun is currently the live action that’s interesting to categorize. But John 🤷🏽♂️. So it’s western 😜
I bought a chess board after watching Apothecary Diaries haha (YouTube)

I think that "The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior" would be a good fit for you guys and this community. It just finished its first season a couple of months ago and I already want the next one to come out already. Anyway it can be found on HiDive if you're willing to check it out.
crash
Bucchigiri has been pretty cool
Well, I am a bit late to the party, and am unsure how much interest there would be for it, but I've seen several other channels watch it rather recently, and think it is a great show, despite being old. Madoka Magica is my recommendation.
Please cover the Spice and Wolf remake Episode 1 just came out :)
Currently airing: Other then the ones you mentioned and the big sequels. All new season 1 anime this season look very mid/just terrible. No big studios doing new shows so its just smaller studios low budget for VA's/Animation. Few exceptions to keep an eyeout for: Windbreaker (action) - based on synopsis and talk (Cloverworks animation) Re:Monster (Fantasy:ISKEAI) - based on eps1 its slightly above MID Id say either look to an anime classic to fill the slot times or look to Winter season to cover something like: Loop-7 or lvl99 boss
I recommend you guys watch highschool of the dead if you like zombie apocalypse type of anime😁
would love this too honestly, been saying this since all of us are dead kdrama
Man I keep having more to say but as you saw with Toradora if I’m about to post something and I want to change my mind the community gets very upset so I have to carefully carefully anticipate what’s going on before I start posting something I already pre-recorded. Because I also don’t want to over release on content
My main suggestion is to wait 2 or 3 weeks after the animes start airing and see what has picked up traction and kept hype up.
Thats part of my strategy and i use this to help filter what i am looking for
RE:Monster a man gets killed in another world. Gets thrown into a goblins body. He solo leveling lol but for real and alot of different characters
So. No Mushoku?
Do you even check the schedule bro?
It's not from this season: Psycho Pass. It has 3 Seasons + Movies/OVAs so it's a bit longer.
In love with the villainess is a pretty fun one from last year.
From current season, I'm interested in, - Re:Monster - Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included - An Archdemon's Dilemma and few others, but need to watch at least first 2 episodes to decide. If you are interested in old anime, I would recommend these; - The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic (last season anime, Joe started doing reaction to this today on youtube, you can check out his video to see if this works for you ) - TenPuru (from summer 2023, might be interesting for a Duo slot but idk if there will be interest in youtube viewers) - If you are interested in older (these are old) but good ones (I'm suggesting these because I like them a lot and would love to see a reaction), - Strike the Blood ( old one but one of my favorites, has 5 seasons but last 2 seasons were fan funded so not many episodes except for first season. I don't see any reactions to this on youtube except one from JamiUwU, and she got decent views and the short videos for this anime get 20-200k views, you can check this channel on youtube to see @kazutokiryuin6555. - Monster Musume (will be great duo slot anime, this haven't got any recent reactions but this guy one youtube react to it without even facecam and got around 150k avg views through out all twelve episodes, https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhhHUNAwOt2pUtv3ozKCKUOc_L5OR3FxH - Sekirei ( 2 seasons, definitely a duo anime, you should like this )
I double-down on The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic, definitely one of the better shows that recently completed their first seasons.
yo, re-monster just came out today. MC re-incarnated into a goblin, a lot of evolution aspects to the anime. Reminds me a lot of Rimuru from re-in as a slime. Recommend checking the trailer atleast.
Is Konosuba in a spot? If not please!
Hello. I mentioned the schedule being updated. You just gotta check it
A Sign of Affection and Diamond no Ace. Now that Dangers in my heart is over, a new romance anime would be cool and I feel like you guys would love the characters in DnA (sports anime)
Pulling from left field, but I gotta represent it: Houseki no kuni, aka Land of the Lustrous. Lol small chance, but that's the show that turned me around on the use of cgi in anime years back. Studio Orange were in their bag with that one.
TITLE: Studio apartment, good lighting Angel included Our main character he is over 20yrs old. He works a 9-5 job. An angel that she wants to experience the human life from heaven's that lands on our MC balcony. You have feet action sleeping in same bed for now 😂 but I think a lot of naive fun with a romance maybe
And Mushoku tensei starts on the 7th
Does Konosuba not have a spot?
How come folks are not checking schedule?
Kakegurui is a good watch, is about gambling. really fun. Great for a duo or trio reaction whichever you pick.
Welcome to the ballroom is short and really good.
Oh, and since teacher is ending, I have another.... anime to cover that it's called Getsuyoubi no Tawawa 2 season 12ep each season but they are only 5 minutes each ep
For currently airing anime: Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy Season 2
Dorohedoro, 12 episodes + 6 shorts, finally greenlit for a second season after 4 years Golden Time, 24 episodes Arakawa Under The Bridge, 26 episodes, 2 seasons Junji Ito Collection, 12 Episodes
Golden Time would be a great follow-up once the finish Toradora since they are by the same creator
Hope you had a great Easter. Suggestion for you. THE NEW GATE (it's like SAO death game) it's in 12 days Re:Monster (reincarnation, but as a monster) it's in 3 hrs Moonlight fantasy season 2 OR OF COURSE... REINCARNATED AS A SWORD
Nice looking schedule. For this anime season, I can only really think of Go! Go! Loser Ranger! (and Kaiju No. 8, but that was mentioned).
Kingdom lol
Toriko its on Hulu
Monster (anime 2004)
If you've got a slot for all 3 of you, I would die to see how you guys break down My Teen Romantic Comedy (Oregairu). Assuming no one has spoiled it for you/you havent watched it yet. I would also like to see Slime and Mushoku Tensei but I could have sworn I read a post where you said you were already going to do those lol
For a duo reaction Kakegurui would be great!
Are you going to do the new Konosuba and Mushoku Tensei? I'd love if you guys ever did Bakemonogatari but that's probably a long shot.
Hello. Thsts why the post said the schedule is updated. So you can glance at what is there
It's not new but would like to see you reaction to wise man's grandchild
Whisper Me a Love Song Spice and wolf Re Monster the new gate
Y’all should watch Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy season 2. It’s really good so far and it’s supposed to have 24 episodes. I highly recommend it.
I agree with this but I think their initial reaction of Tsukimichi was only Lee and Director so Adorkable would either need to catch up or it would be a duo reaction.
Mission:Yozakura family. In some ways similar to Spy Family but it gets much more serious midway into the series . I honestly don’t know how popular it is/will be but it’s absolutely amazing and I hope the anime adaptation does it justice.
Konosuba coming back too ain't it?
Ace of diamond Lee if you liked haikyu I promise you’re gonna love ace of diamond it’s about a 15 year old kid that goes to a top tier baseball school aiming to win nationals, lost of character growth from a lot of characters like I mean a lot lmfao the anime always finds ways to hype up every moment they can but yea naw ace of diamond is my fav anime of all time for good reasons
It's lighter in tone, almost slice of life, not edgy enough, except when it's edgy to be funny
Re:Monster is nice ( if you like Slime you will like this , very similar but different enough ) and is starting on 5 April .
If season doesn’t matter, I’d recommend Soul Eater since it’s in the same universe as Fire Force which is supposed to come back in summer… and it’s aged extremely well. If you want something this season I think the dark horse that’s unknown to most but will gain popularity is Go Go Loser Ranger /Reject Ranger. The manga is pretty underrated and it could do well with good animation which the trailers seem to have.
Honestly, Soul Eater is pretty baller, not gonna lie.
Ace of diamonds
They are older Anime but have you considered either Black Lagoon or Jormungand? Black Lagoon is about a delivery company that runs arround on a torpedo boat and, Jormungand is about an armsdealer who has a hidden agenda.
If they do black lagoon, i hope they don't listen to dub fans, it's another not so great but overly lauded dub. The VAs for the sub were amazing
Go Go Loser Ranger for a unique take on a power ranger setting.
Ancient Magus Bride
Beast Tamer
Inu X Boku SS
High School Of The Dead
Seven Deadly Sins
I think Relife would be a great one for you guys
Slime, Demon Slayer, and Whisper Me A Love Song are my big ones this season.
If you ever want to take an L at chess hit me up on the chess app
Re:monster is coming out this week and looks pretty good
There's an anime coming!!? I enjoyed the manga a lot. It's a Slime/Overlord type series, so they'll probably enjoy it. I wonder how censored it will be. 🤔 The manga is full of slavery, sex/ rape, and drugs a la Redo of Healer.
In the same vein as undead unluck Mission Yozakura family is one of the weekly shonen jump manga that is finally getting an anime, would love to see a react to it
I heavily recommend Charlotte and Kurokos Basket
I have only read the first chapter of kaiju no. 8 but I know it’s a popular jump series. You also only have one new anime on the schedule. I don’t know if that matters to you. But, kaiju no. 8 will probably get the most views out of the new animes this season based on the popularity of the manga and amount of followers on MAL.
Here is something a little different, if you like world building and mystery. Try “shadow house”Or you want a little horror watch “Mieruko-chan.”
Definitely recommending Yozakura family Viral hit And Tsukimichi if you're interested
Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable.
Mission: Yozakura Family is the sleeper of the season that many aren't talking about because it's new but give it three weeks after it airs and it'll blow up, similar to Shangri-La Frontier in that regard (since no one was talking about that either at first)
Aldnoah Zero will all ways be a suggestion from me. :) Could do a rewatch of Irregular for adorkablenerd. (Highly unlikely I know) Re:Monster and The New Gate mangas were both good, however I was not a fan of how they animated the MC for TNG in the preview, but I still will watch it (even if its not in a reaction) Rom Com wise ReLIFE has been on my mind lately. :) Its old but good.
Aldnoah Zero is an interesting choice. I always like them doing mecha...
Wait, room for three more anime’s this season, or only three.
Go Go Loser Ranger I still think you guys should hop on Tower of God s1 because s2 is probably gonna be the 2nd most popular show of the Summer season after OnK s2.
Haha it’s my time to shine First off, If you’re not opposed to watching something from last season, I’d suggest “The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic.” Left a description with my opinions in the suggestions chat. If you’d prefer to stay in the current season, I suggest maybe checking the trailers for some of the shows I’m about to list. “Go! Go! Loser Ranger!” “Mission: Yozakura Family” “The New Gate” “An Archdemon’s Dilemna: How to Love Your Elf Bride” “Mysterious Disappearances” “Unnamed Memory” And maybe “Tensei Kizoku, Kantei Skill de Nariagaru”. So many more possibilities if we’re talking about shows from the past though.
Slime Season 3 is already locked in for Saturdays. I'd like to repeat myself and recommend Weakest Tamer for all the parental feels. I'd love to see Lee and Adorkable react to the MC and her circumstances.
Disastrous Life of Saiki K
Whisper me a Love Song and Unnamed Memory are 2 romances I'm looking at for this season. If you're not feeling those, you may have to pick some older stuff to fill space. Maybe give it a week or 2 and see what genre you'd maybe want to watch and we can go from there lol.
RockLee, please also add Wind Breaker which is based on Manga (it is delinquent anime like Tokyo Revengers) and Viral Hit (Kenka Dokugaku) based on Webtoon, to your list. These two animes will be release this April.
thanks for giving a chance to spice&wolf, you won't regret it! hope you enjoy it and let's pray in a good remake🙏
Disastrous Life of Saiki K
When it comes to Kaiju no.8 I started reading the manga literally when chapter 1 came out cuz I was just jumping into a bunch of shit and I got around 20-30 chapters in and was enjoying it! I only stopped because life became hectic and then just never picked it back up but I enjoyed the start of it and liked the premise! Hoping the anime makes me want to jump back into the manga
Uzaki chan wants to hang out? Or is that one too old?
I’m currently looking at new airing shows although I was not specific. And then I’ll consider older shows
An anime I really enjoy is welcome to demon school IRUMA kun 🥹
Season 4 is going to be coming out sometime this year probably too, so it could be a good time to jump in. It is bizarre that a Shonen with 3 seasons and more on the way gets as little love in the West as Demon School.
Whisper me a love song (yuri romance) Re: Monster Go Go Loser Ranger
