Might be a lot safer to just go SUB by default for all anime . I usually don't watch anything in DUB anyway. Japan takes their voice acting seriously, from tens of thousands of hopefuls with only a very small percentage actually making it, with even smaller numbers making it big. I did give your ninja kamui dub react a try but i dropped it a like 3 episodes in.
Unless its something I'm familiar with already I always start with sub its just how I process media I'm same way with foreign films the way it was made seems best way to watch it to me in even planning to watch Suicide Squad subbed (im assuming they'll dub it at some point)
I thought I was the only one that noticed, lol, although I did see one set of reactors mention that the dialogue didn't seem good in the last episode, but they joked, it's our fault for watching the dub. Haven't seen your latest reactions yet, but when the first few episodes dropped, I preferred sub, but didn't mind watching dubbed reactions. I know the series was originally Japanese, and was dubbed by Sentai Studios out in Texas. All that said, to my ear, the dub has progressively gotten worse with each episode, and it was very noticeable in the last one. It feels as if the enthusiasm they had for it in the first episode just slowly disappeared, and it became more of a chore to do it, just reading lines as you say.

It鈥檚 not terrible until episode seven. Prior to that it鈥檚 just bland. But it shouldn鈥檛 have to be bland They chose to not secure the best talent
As a dude who in the past would switch black clover from sub to dub back and forth (don鈥檛 ask I didn鈥檛 really want to). I鈥檓 used to it. Literally give me less then an episode to put Japanese voices to faces and I鈥檓 good. I haven鈥檛 heard the Japanese version but I agree it was atrocious. And the voice acting director on set approved of that? What company is doing the English translations?
