Fifa 22 Position Change Trading

Hey Guys, 

Another one of my favorite early game methods and one that can be combined with both chem style trading or tech avion! 

Position change trading can be done two different ways, but most often will be done with the first method listed. 

1. Buying Cards Already Position Changed

This is how I personally see this method utilized around 75% of the time. Position modifiers can dramatically change the price of a card, but users may have forgotten they applied them when selling. 

Similar to chemistry style trading, users check Futbin for the price of their card and list at the lowest buy now. They don't realize a position change or a few of them can make a card worth a lot more. 

This method works great on the more expensive position modifiers so typically central based cards that have been changed.

These were all great examples from Fifa 21 and very specific positions people needed for chemistry in their team! 

This method works with all card types to start the year because position modifiers on cards are used infrequently. My favorite budgets to do this with are 5-100K cards. After 100K, the value becomes less relevant to many buyers since it's a lower % of the card.

2. Applying Position Changes 

This is used far less frequently, but it can work especially to start Fifa. As Fifa starts, nearly all cards are in their standard position, so they're rare in changes. For example, low budget cards like Gelson Martins starts as a RM, but changing him to a RW and reselling him higher can work! Let's look at an example - 

Gelson costs 2K as a RM

RM>RW costs 1K 

After applying the modifier, you've spent 3K in total. 

If you can sell him at 4-5K this is a perfect ROI in this type of trading! 

This method tends to work best with position modifiers that cost less than 1.5K. Any more than that and it becomes challenging to make coins. 

Another great example from Fifa 21 was combining this method with the Advanced SBC's! 

The SBC titled "Around the World" in Hybrid Nations used a 5 back formation and needed 100 chemistry. 

Buying both RB and LB with a good rating/league and converting them to RWB/LWB often brought in some really good margins. Again, you just need to be aware of what content we have and what people are doing. 

For the first few weeks, everyone is smashing SBC's because cards are valued so high! Trading with them is really effective!
