Thursday Rewards Trading
Hey Guys,
Today, I think we learned a really important lesson on not panicking! I know quite a few of you were really tempted to panic sell cards at the TOTY announcement, but quite a few had the same thought, which is why we saw the market drop.
Now, cards have rebounded towards their daily price and we even got a few additional flips at the very bottom. I understand it hurt cards you were currently holding, but it wasn't by much.
Anyways, if you see cards rapidly declining I tend to wait out the panic rather than sell into it! I find from experience it tends to work out better for me!
Today, we had Showdown come out with Klaiber, so RB's in general are down, but that makes sense! Always keep an eye on current SBC's and it will help you determine why certain cards are low.
Now, a lot of you guys have come in this month on the lower budget side and I've worked extra hard to give you some options to trade! Position change, chem style, silvers, etc! Now, let's look at cards we can get at rewards that are likely to increase through Daily SBC's and Marquee Matchups!
The ideal time to bid on cards is the first few hours of rewards following supply! The cards below primarily provide strong links (same league + nation) or fit the requirements of multiple leagues + nations! They're used often for Daily SBC's or Marquee Matchups.
I expect these buy now prices to drop a couple hundred coins and open bids to even be a touch cheaper than buy now! This means you should aim for a few hundred coins under their buy now tomorrow on bids!

Gold rares work the same as the non rares, but instead of holding into content or the next few days, I would look to flip these instantly! The supply just simply beats demand those first few hours of rewards!
Next, on a larger budget let's look at some potential TOTYN. We know the TOTY vote begins tomorrow, but that's really all we know! TOTY Nominee cards have come in previous years and it does bring their gold cards OOP. Rather than investing in meta gold cards, I rather look at the fodder perspective since it's safer towards TOTY.
These cards represent fodder that could get TOTYN. The deeper you go in this, the more risk you have. I recommend club stocking these if you have a large coin total as it will end up being a good amount of coins to even club stock
Alisson 57-59K both
Neuer 51-52K both
Ramos 55-56K both
Busquets 34-35K
Gonna pause here. These cards are HIGH. Fodder has actually been outrageously high as EA hasn't given the market a break recently between Icons and Party Bags, etc. You can even buy the cards after MM because if there isn't nice content they'll dip a little further
Next, Headliner Hradecky is worth stocking on your club if not a few more high budget.
Currently an 86, but with one upgrade he becomes the cheapest 87 by around 8-10K. Aim to buy him around 24K or under either console tomorrow. Their team lost their latest game, but I think it's worth the hold that's great ROI.
Lastly, if you are looking to flip TOTW cards at rewards and are experienced in that method my favorite look is Tierney! Tierney is a low rated TOTW and will be packed a lot, but the Premier League lacks LB. I could see him dropping at rewards and showing a nice rebound!
As I usually mention, Thursday is the ideal day for tech avion! I will link the post once more before, but I also like De Jong and Wijnaldum, too due to the recent links!
