Squad Battle Rewards + Fodder
Hey Guys!
The market is crazy right now and let's talk about why it's looking this way!
1. UCL SBC
This was the first major hit and a massive coin suck for people completing it. Altogether, it would cost you close to 300K. Based on the UCL prices I am seeing today, they have been slowly inflating since release meaning people are continuing to do the SBC. This is a massive coin drain and it's also repeatable for pack addicts.
2. POTM Son
Similar to above, users tying up this many coins in an untradable heavily reduces buying power and more specifically, in his position. A big coin drain as people have been hoarding untradables from rewards.
3. TOTW SBC
I see most people doing around 5 of these SBC's to test their luck. The pack weight has looked dreadful, but people crave these gambling types of SBC's. Another big coin drain
4. Black Friday Panic
The market was always going to head down towards Black Friday, which is why I shouted to sell your team a few weeks back. The above events and continued panic lead to the major drop-off Saturday.
It's important to remember the crash always happens before we thing. Everyone believes they are beating the crash, which actually leads to the crash. Quite ironic, but happens yearly. I still think it has a little more room to come down, but we will have some ups and downs along the way. People still actually want to play the game! Haha
Anyways, we still likely have Mbappe POTM and Icons approaching in the next few weeks. Fodder rose for Son, so it should definitely rise for these, too! Ideally, we actually see a Base Icon SBC. This is a best case scenario for people and would cause an increase more than individual players in my opinion.
These cards still have a ton of room to rise in my opinion. All prices taken from past 24 hours!
Godin 6K PS/ 6.4K Xbox. These SBC fodders are really good to trade on Xbox. They move almost a full K while in and out of solutions...
Skriniar 6.5K PS/6.9K Xbox
Alderweireld 6.7K PS/7K Xbox
Bonucci 6.8K PS/7.3K Xbox
Marquinhos 7.3K PS/7.8K Xbox
(Skip T Silva as he's OOP)
Gimenez 3.7K PS/4.1K Xbox
De Vrij 3.7K PS/4.2K Xbox
Ter Stegen 42K PS/41K Xbox. This one is a little different as he's still slightly inflated from Son, but will surely rise with more 88+ squads.
Next, let's take advantage of the Squad Battle Rewards! We know people will continue to do SBC's pretty much no matter what!
I'm going to shift the focus to some Rares tonight as well as some non rares. The most recent 50K pack SBC has shifted a lot of rares up and they don't have as many eyes on them.
With Squad Battle Rewards bidding, remember you are looking at their current buy now price and really aiming to bid around 50-60% of it. Bids are competitive, but this allows you to either flip them quickly or hold until the supply lessens.
