Hello everyone, and Happy New Year!
My apologies for posting this a few days late. It's been a busy end of year and as well I was away discovering a most enchanting island of Cape Verde called Santa Antao. Simply astonishing! It will make for great upcoming episodes.
But back to this episode. Although many people have compared me to Anthony Bourdain, I'm far from his talent and charisma. But this episode has some of his style because it is about discovering Cape Verde through food, drink, music and its people. And here we discover a side of Cape Verde that is real.

You are right, it is about traveling, but it is a lot about exploring! Exploring the countries you visit and the people that you meet, and as I have said in the past, you meet the best people. I can tell that you put yourself out there to meet the best people.
Yes it is about exploring. Going around that corner or beyond that hill. But the people really make it special when they are special. I've got some really great footage for new episodes coming up. So much it's hard to keep up with it. These islands a really amazing! Thank you Cal!
