YouTube Hacked – Continue the Journey on Odysee
Hello Winded Voyagers,
I am writing to share some crap news: my YouTube channel, which hosted over ten years of genuine sailing adventures and more than 800 videos under the Winded Voyage name, has been hacked and has completely vanished from the web. At this moment, that decade of work is inaccessible on YouTube.
However, there is a silver lining. Because I previously synced my YouTube channel with my Odysee account, much of my video content is already safely online on Odysee. While the YouTube presence is gone, the archives of our adventures largely remain intact on this alternative platform.
My immediate focus is now on reorganizing my Odysee channel to properly reflect the Winded Voyage 10-year journey, ensuring the playlists and narrative flow make sense for both old and new viewers. Going forward, all new videos will be published exclusively on Odysee. This move allows me to express more freedom and operate without the centralized control of tech giants like Google.
I deeply appreciate your support over the years. Your patronage is critical as I finalize this transition and restructure the channel. Please head over to Odysee to continue following the adventure; the link is below.

Thank you for standing by me.
Hugs and big love

Terrible news! I've joined you on Odysee and I hope eveyone else does too. Best of luck Alex.
You're very kind Dan. Maybe it's for the best. I've been think of a repositioning. I'll get onto detail later. Videos keep coming. Just finished one and will post it tomorrow
Hi Alex, how recent was this? Must be horrifying to lose so much of your produced work -even though much has been saved trough alternatives. I hope you can keep it coming, looking forward to more of these colour explosions of yours!
It was a few days ago. I got mu affiliate program partner Bent Pixel working on it. It's in their interest. They take 20% of my YT revenue. In return they help out and I have access to Epidemic Sound music library. I've think of a repositioning anyways. On this platform I can be more honest. Like I can curse. I've been wanting to do that without being censored. Sailors curse, damn it!
