The Reality of Sailing Alone In The Delta | A Map, $170 Tax, Beaching my boat & Bloody Foot | S7E30
Hello friends.
Galopin and I are back from Switzerland and back to working on videos as well boat stuff. My brother turned me on to AI to help my channel. Surprise? I'm a believer! I'll be making some changes and repositioning for the future. Hint, I'm officially retired and old. And I'm sailing around Africa. According to my new AI friend there is a lot of potential for me and my content. I had help on this latest video. And I like it.
Being 65 and solo in waist-deep water with a cut foot certainly makes you rethink your life choices! 😅 The dolphins made it magic, but the reality of the river tax and the 'what's under the surface' fear was very real. Have any of you ever had a moment where the 'dream' felt a little too real? Let me know in the comments!
Big hugs from Dakar Senegal

Haha I get spooked like that when I’m scrubbing the bottom of the tri in the marina there are some big bull sharks.
Hahaha. You can relate. As can I. Bull sharks are aggressive. Yikes!
