Early Access: John Wick Part 1 (slightly rough)
Hey team!
I've decided to share the John Wick video with you in pieces as it nears completion. Here are the first 15 minutes, structured mostly-but-not-exclusively around the first film.
I'm calling this "slightly rough" because it is the revised script, final audio, completed graphics, but there are still a few edges to sand. Saying that: here are the things I've already spotted so you don't need to tell me in comments:
footage is slightly smaller than splitscreen and leaves gaps
splitscreen in Snowpiercer featuring Wilford and Gilliam should be in reversed order, as Wilford is in the front car and Gilliam in the rear
text on Suits One is misspaced and overlaps the text box
accidental footage reuse on Presumption Three
audio leveling wouldn't go amiss
I also might add music to this one.
More to come! Having some fun with this one. :)

God damn it's good to be back
lol Derek Guy jumpscare, I love it
I don't know if this is another one of those edits you already spotted, but... about that last sentence in the Snowpiercer part: https://www.selfdefined.app/definitions/savage/
aw man I got so sucked in I forgot this wasn't the whole thing! Great work so far! I've always really enjoyed your cadence and humor. The suit bit is exactly what I'm here for.
Well now I need to see high rise. Great video, looking forward to seeing more!
Excited to see the Derek Guy collab; I had no idea he sounded so much like you.
Fantastic, really missed this kind of video from you
While you were listing off the various forms that John Wick exists in, I was *really* hoping you'd mention the John Wick pinball table hahaha. Regardless of that, this is super cool! Looking forward to more!
I never really thought of the John Wick movies in terms of class or injustice like this and I find the idea really fascinating. This definitely reframes the series in a very interesting way. Looking forward to the later parts!
this is exciting, reminds me of the female action character archetype videos in structure and promises to say something interesting about societal rules. I noticed some mistakes in the subtitles, but that might be Patreons fault.
I did not upload any subtitles, anything you see is auto-generated. I'll get the subs professionally done when the video is finished!
Glad to hear you're having fun! It looks like a lot of fun. I'm reminded of your Cornetto video. (I................might have cited it in an MA project.)
If you can say anything good about The Hives, it's that they brought a huge amount of style to their wardrobe. Really wish they'd address the allegation, though. D:
This was excellent! 😄 Really whets the appetite for the rest, especially because I don't fully see the connection with the capitalism movies from the intro (though I think I have enough to fill in some gaps)
