School of Lust v0.3.3c issues #2
Hi everyone!
We would like to do a quick follow-up on our last post, in case anyone is still having issues playing the new School of Lust v0.3.3c update. Here's the list of issues that were reported to us and solutions on how to fix them:
ISSUE: "Error Failed to load: js/plugins/Live2D.js" error message after launching the game.
CAUSE: The Live2D.js file was detected as a false positive by Windows Defender (and a few other security software).
SOLUTION: Download the game again. We've updated the file (removed the encryption), and it should no longer be detected.
ISSUE: "The code execution cannot proceed because nw_elf.dll was not found." Windows popup message while trying to launch the game.
CAUSE: You're running the game on Windows, without extracting the contents (files) first.
SOLUTION: After you download the zip file, please make sure that you extract the contents first, before launching the SOL.exe file. You can do this, by right clicking the downloaded zip file, and select "Extract all...".
ISSUE: "Error loading: img/system/Loading.png" error message after launching the game.
CAUSE: Loading.rpgmvp image file missing inside the /www/img/system/ folder. We're still not exactly sure what's causing this issue, but we expect that something went wrong while extracting the game.
SOLUTION: A quick solution is to rename the Loading2.rpgmvp file inside /www/img/system/ to Loading.rpgmvp
ISSUE: Black screen after launching the game.
CAUSE: Could be due to a number of reasons.
SOLUTION: Try all the solutions above, as we noticed that sometimes the error messages aren't shown when launching the game, and a black screen is shown instead.

I'm getting the screen to lock up sometimes when speaking to Natalie about Hypnotizing her again. It'll play the sound effects and the keys will work, but nothing new will show up onscreen. (I can just hear the sound of the menu working in the background). I'm also noticing that the auto sorter in the fully upgraded shop seems to have problems with the bottom row of tables. Sometimes it'll put CRs and BPs on the floor instead of the table. So far just these two toys, but you may want to check it out. Um, feedback: 1. The new scenes still have the text: "Do you want to spend time with Sofia to gain effort?", then you get the scene but no effort skill up. It may happen with the others as well, but I notice it with Sofia since effort actually has an effect on gameplay that I was trying for. 2. In the pit I can click on cum to switch to a vibrator, but the tutorial never went into what the vibrator does. Is it a shield, is it for melee attacks, or does it work like a lightsaber and deflect squirts back at the enemies? I think so far I'm just disarming myself to make it easier for them to kill me. 3. I messed with the item counts in my save to stress test the game, and I noticed that while Scarlett only lets you buy 5 of each item, the code is somehow letting you carry 50 before it stops letting you add more. There are still a few Teddy Bear Bombs and Antiandrogen spawns in the pit that would bump you over Scarlett's limit. 4. Antiandrogen: you may just want to be aware that Rogaine works as an antiandrogen, it blocks androgen in the scalp to promote hair growth. 5. Would it be possible to create some events that only work if you have high Arousal? Right now there's no benefit to keeping it up, and antiandrogen use can cause complications later.
I am still getting Error Failed to load: js/plugins/Live2D.js even after ive re downloaded the game 3 times?
for me get a black screen after the first pool event.zoe takes of pants.run to changing room.they follow.then black screen
I seem to have an issue with losing characters in dialogue scenes, along with text in dialogue bubbles. I have tried re-downloading the game zip file to the desktop and unpacking it there. My PC is running Windows 7
The music also carries over from the H scenes into the bedroom

Found another one, if you go to the H scenes, and do zoe's newest one, after it ends, everything goes black, but you can still interact with the other scene, mr ??? and the exits
Found one after i uploaded my 3.3b save to the 3.3c, the Town music carries over into the shop after you close it and will carry over into the dungeon and home afterwards.
Update. Norton stopped killing Java, it will run now, but Norton is now eating my save files.
Hi Christian! Sorry for the late reply. That should not happen. I don't see any reason for any security software to block the save files, but it's Norton, so who knows =) Could you please e-mail us your save files (if you still have them), so we can look into this? I'm still getting the "Failed to load: js/plugins/Live2D.js" error. Though I was previously getting nothing but a black screen so this is something I guess? I know you said you fixed it and I went in and redownloaded it but I still got this error.
Hi Yano! I believe I know why it didn't work for you. Unfortunately, you have to download the game again to have it fixed. I hope you don't have a bandwidth limit. Cheers =)
Boner games. Those are all PC errors. Landoa and I have reported a Mac error. It seems we both have macbook's. "Mac issue. Error Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'drawingBufferHeight' of null " Any update on this?

Release in April? So relatively soon then! Still guessing it'll be end of April meaning I won't be able to play until mid-may (vacationing with Fiancée)... Unless I torture her by making her play this with me... heh heh... maybe... nah, she'd probably kill me :).
