POLL: School of Lust v0.3 Progress Report (August) & Poll
Hi everyone! Yet another week has gone by, and (as some of you already pointed out) it's time for another progress report;
We're currently only a few tasks away to release version 0.3 of School of Lust, but these last few tasks are also quite significant, so we'll have to kindly ask for a bit more patience. We're working 24/7 (with minimal sleep!) to finish the release before the end of the month.
For those who want more detail; we're currently working on expanding the Hole, which also includes an extensive h-scene. We expect the Hole expansion to be ready in a day or two, which leaves us with two h-scenes to implement, and then we'll finally be able to release version 0.3!
During the past week, we've also added some minor features (including extra scenes), for example; you can now receive pictures on your phone. When you increase your relationship with the girls, they could send you something lewd, or maybe someone, who has access to a hacked phone of one of the girls (like Claire!), would reward you with a lewd picture:
Keep in mind that this feature is still in development, but it will be functional in v0.3. The image will also obviously be uncensored within the game =)
That said, we received quite a few reports that the ability to switch to the Alter-Ego is bugged. On day #29 (Sunday, October 3rd), when you wake up, you should not be able to leave your bed, until you've spoken to your Alter-Ego. This also triggers a new quest called "Switcheroo", and allows you to switch playing to the Alter-Ego by interacting with the mirror in the bedroom, which is required to complete Violet's tire swing quest.
Please let us know by voting down if you've experienced this bug, as it will help us to determine how common this bug is, as we haven't been able to replicate it.
If you vote "yes" down below, please let us know what version of the game you've played, and if you have transferred (and continued to play) a save file from an earlier version of School of Lust.

could the $20 dollar tier at least receive the alpha, I don't really mind if it glitches a lot. I feel it would at least put a lot of the patrons at ease too
I don't believe there should be beta for 2weeks .... I'm pretty disappointed. I will be removing my pledge if I cannot play the game in aug. I am happy to continue pledge if my (simple easily accomplished) demands are met.
Is the game on beta test ?
It seems my comment was removed so I'll make a very abridged version. Please remove the $20 tier. You need to add update and news feeds to the $1 tier and cannot do beta testing. You don't have the time or manpower for it. We all really like this game, but you can't hide behind wholesome apologies. I don't subscribe to Netflix only to be told I can watch next month but still have to pay. You need to update us every couple days before all our trust is gone. Please message me personally as I think I could really help you structure something out and it could publicly save you from losing more income
Day by day they have more patrons, so it does not matter if a few go. ^^
Sir, Can you please give us some information so we would believe that you actually give a shit about your patrons? It literally cost nothing to keep your patrons informed and we havent heard anything for 12 days even when you are behind on your upload schedule. We understand that making a game takes time but posting some information about the game doesnt.
I hope you plan to give us an update today.

So I've been a $10 member for about a week now and it still wont let me download the latest version of school of lust. I would really like to support this company but its hard when I not getting anything out of it

Hey, there is no need to go on a hiatus from your supports. We all know you are hard at work and things get complicated. It's just discomforting to not hear anything. Better to hear bad news than no news at all. Whether it be business related or personal.
Can't say I am suprised that there isnt a weekly report yet. Even last post they were a few days late and claimed it as a weekly report. It's just getting dissapointing at this point. :/

So no more weekly Progress Reports? I'm glad your responding to comments, but with an update this vast and time consuming makes a large gap of no communication between us and you on any sort of time frame from this update.
Hey Boner Games if it's true what Netateake said about not being able to honor the scene above can I get a refund or at least put this towards the 20 dollars tier?
hmmmm updated my payment to the 20 and it says I have 50 dollar credit. I assume this means it will go towards the 20 tier till the credit is gone. Sweet.

Pretty sure if you paid attention you'd have known before you pledged that they're out of stock on the rewards for the 50$ pledge, and that was before you pledged for it. So while they most likely appreciate you for it regardless, you won't get your custom scene. You MIGHT get your custom NPC since that isn't super hard to do, but you most likely aren't going to get either one, so I wouldn't hold your breath.

this is outrageous 3 months no update cmon guys and now another 2 weeks just to beta test this is not alright.
I think they ment 1-2 weeks if they need to work out the bugs after the beta testing but either way it doesn’t matter it’s not like they have a huge team stuff takes time don’t want it to be rushed.
I really hope the update comes out before I have to renew my subscription cuz I prolly wont have the money right on the first cuz I won't get paid by then. The people of Boner Games! Please get this update out asap haha, I'm getting really excited to see everything that has been added

That's what they are aiming for, before the end of the month. But if your a 10$ Patreon supporter like me, you won't get access to it till sometime in September or even later depending on bugs it seems.

The amount of time this update is taking to push out honestly has me concerned, since from what I gather the problem right now is the scenes, and there's a lot of those that still need to be done even if we aren't talking about the ones that are to be requested. That means that at this point, we should probably be expecting only one or two new scenes a month, and that translates to ultimately slowed down progress for most of the rest of the game's production. =/
Honestly, I would be happy to even get something new after 3 months waiting period ;/

I hope update addresses many of the dead ends in the game. I.E., can't talk to Violet before finishing school "dungeon", can't finish it because it ends, can't gain with Principal without coins, can't get coins due to limit in "dungeon". There is also the matter of lots of chests and few keys. lol....I have explored every trash can...even on beach...and there is just no way to make money. You said you work "24-7". Nice. When will you actually accomplish something? Phone vids you project might be good, but do the fix the above?
Did you break all the pots? I had more keys than chest. Why wouldn't you do the dungeon asap, never ran into violet problem myself. You get so much points with Principal through coins though, she was my highest at end game. I do agree with not having a way to earn a buttload of cash, however i ended with 3k+, I'd say thats good with how early it is. Please let the devs work, step back and look at the problems your having.

how long does it take to get to lev 2 for knowledge im at 146 or 156 I forget now and what about the farm ,city and all the other ones that say in progress
I had the bug as well. But I had also transferred my save from one version to another after maxing the number of days. I think that was the issue on my end. Gonna start a new save and see what happens.
I had this bug. I believe it was on v0.2.1c. I didn't try and load a save, just a fresh game. I think I did still have the free build installed, unless it overwrites it when I install the newer version; but not sure if that matters. (sorry not the most knowledgeable in that department) On another note, although I'm a fairly new patron I don't mind waiting awhile for a new build, especially if it's a large update. You guys update and give progress reports much more regularly than some others I'm supporting. Keep up the good work, so far the game has been a blast.

I had this bug, too. But I wasn't able to play the last scene of Violet. I didn't save the night before.
Version 0.2.1.b (Alpha) exhibited the bug for me. I did not try to load an old save. I still have a save where I cannot switch into my alter-ego well past the date you are supposed to be able to.

but the alter ego spoke up and I was able to switch in the mirror but there is a lot crashes in version 0.02
