Mass Effect 3 Legendary Edition is now playable in full head-tracked VR.

Real stereo depth. Stand inside a Human Reaper looking down at a burning Earth. Walk the Citadel one last time. Dive beneath the ocean with the Leviathans. Fight through Reaper-held ground. The trilogy ends here.

It comes with 3 VR modes: Stereo, AER, and DIBR. First-person gameplay is also in, but remember, it's a third-person game originally, so don't expect a full FPS conversion.

AER is vastly improved.

Also has VR cutscenes, conversations, and first-person conversations too.

It's free to download. Any updates will be provided for free too.

Install Instructions: Put the files next to the MassEffect3.exe

\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME3\Binaries\Win64\MassEffect3.exe

Press Insert to open the menu and go to the VR tab to tune the Eye Separation and Convergence to fit your needs.

PERFORMANCE

While the game should run fine, the Citadel has CPU cost that will cause frame drops. Happens even in the flat version. Set your headset's refresh rate to 90Hz for the smoothest feel in the hubs.

BEFORE YOU PLAY - IMPORTANT

Turn OFF HDR in Mass Effect's own video options. If you boot the game and it gets stuck blue/doubled in the headset, that's HDR - go turn it off there.

If you want to turn off Depth of Field, go to your GamerSettings.ini file and add 'DepthOfField=False' under SystemSettings.

GamerSettings.ini can be found at Mass Effect Legendary Edition/Game/ME3/BioGame/Config

Note - Doing that might give the game a washed look. That is an Unreal Engine 3 issue.
