Q&A December 2023: Oxygenated Wine Edition
For this week's bonus, we gathered the entire cast of Riley, Milo, Hussein, Nate, and Alice, and responded to the questions that you submitted. Needless to say, we had to ask food-related ones that would get Riley talking about his passions.

Riley talking about food is my kink
Decanter? I hardly know her.
From a former bus driver, I have to say: Alice, follow your dreams. Get the CDL. Take the wheel. Drive the bus.
oh shit, Germany has discovered the halal snack pack
My question made the cut! Yay. Regarding the "brain dump " phenomena. It's like that trope of " the day you razed my village was the most traumatic day of my life." to which the villain replies " for me it was Tuesday". Similar thing with you making bits . For us it's memorable but for you it's a recording session I particularly like the out of place historical bits. The railway ronin, the lagoon, anything related to the mandate of heaven ... in Britain Politics. Bonus points for Milo losing his mind and reverting to factory default accent. If something can make him snap I know I'm not alone. Thanks cast. Here's to a good new 2024.
As the child of a Car Guy, all I can say is it helps if you learn to do your own maintenance. But then you end up with Project Cars.
Nate what kinda synth DIY stuff are you into? Have you put together modules and stuff like that?
And now I’ve listened to the oxygenated wine bit. Fucks sake Riley kidda, except I went to Celtic Manor in September and had Welsh pork cheek, Welsh lamb, Welsh cheese and Welsh whiskey except with golfers which was a shame
MILO: Seriously man, why have you NOT done the Viz as a Britainology?
I don't get the impression Milo is much of a Viz-head, it's not *that* mainstream and it does tend to kind of skew a bit older.
Nate, I don't think you got many questions because people think you and Riley are the same person. It was maybe a year before I figured it out. I just assumed Nate/Riley was a nickname/middle name or something. Derp
I don't remember the lagoon bit, so I must have been in the studio when it was recorded??
The Equitable Lagoon ft. Tom Walker 2023-05-29
My assumption about Hussein is that he has the softest hands on the pod. Just sounds like a guy with gentle, silky smooth, hands.
ah, the Mishima Station egg sandwich. the egg sandwich that kills itself instantly
why do i crave a very straight, very married twink captain obsessed w military garb to command me to order an inauthentic pizza
Happy New Year, gal and guys
"My Commanding Officer is a Power Bottom" - best new anime of 2024
if i wanted Misato curry and they forced me to have Asuka curry in the shinjuku eva cafe id be so mad
Wow Dan cracked Nate's musician egg?
With Riley leaving toward the end, I wonder - can Milo do passable impressions of the TF hosts? Or has he taken a solemn vow never to use his powers for that specific type of evil?
as someone who studied adjacent to the KCL War Studies programme... oof and uncritical support to Hussein's policy of splendid isolation
+1 for HK’s bubble
Hello, I'm the Scrap Takes guy - thanks for the shout-out and thanks for all the Bits! I think 2024 should be exclusively Peter Griffin from different parts of Eastern Europe
absolutely delightful episode, thanks so much for putting it together!
I had no idea James Acaster was a real person until just now. I thought he was just a derivative of Colonel JG Acaster that Milo made up
Alice referring to her husband as a 'weeb for mexico' and not a 'Sombreraboo' feels like a missed opportunity.
Also: I am an interpreter and I completely understand the brain-dump thing. I once interpreted a two-hour meeting on plastic pollution for the UN and to this day I do not remember a damn thing that was said
Extremely refreshing to kick back, listen to you guys talk shit and avoid thinking about The Horrors
