The War on Cashmas feat. Brett Scott
We speak with Brett Scott about the "cashless economy," and how - under the guise of convenience - another public utility (the money system denominated by cash) is being privatised into what are essentially digital casino chips controlled by banks and payment acquirers.

very proud of Milo for keeping Mr Van Der Klerk on a leash here
Love to vemo my child money from the tooth fairy.
Matt Hancock stood next to a roulette table saying put it all on black yeah it might lose it might win
na he puts in on one number, wins then puts it on the same number and louses like tony soprano
The unlikely alliance between me and every GazBazz in the southeast to stop cash being erased.
I preferred to when the titles were about gaping Britain. That shit is inspirational
Trashcoin when?
"That wasn't very cloud money of you" - Internet meme, ~2033 unknown author.
Your pun skill in naming episodes is top notch. We may not have a good future lined up, our politicians may be competing to see how stupid can they get and still get elected... But we'll always have the witty, smartly named episodes of trash future. Yay.
It took many years, but it appears Riley has finally compromised Jerk van der Klerk to a permanent end. (Surely he would have appeared on the episode otherwise.) RIP to a real one; we'll always have part 1 of the Equatorial Guinea episode, Jerk.
Outrageous South African accent
So, has anyone ever seen Matt Hancock and Eric Adams in the same place? I dunno why this episode made it click, but l'm now convinced they're the same guy.
Having just completed an essay for my soul destroying marketing course where I had to write what sounded like startup speak and I can cleanse my brain of the word stakeholder with some TF
I know that feel. When a buzzword gets repeated ad nauseum for academic purposes. In my case it was innovation. It means nothing to me anymore, it's like a background buzz or one of those radio bleeps. It is devoid of meaning and It inflicts psychic damage to me anytime I hear it :( Kickstarters, startups and designers have ruined many good words and concepts
