Concrete Island feat. Daniel Trilling
It's the free one!
We had journalist Daniel Trilling on the podcast to discuss his research into The Home Office - how it became such a strange, cruel, dysfunctional department, and how it fits into the larger cruel absurdities of immigration policy in western countries. Also, we talk excitedly about Matt Hancock’s new appointment to the UN (…we got the bad news a couple days after recording).

I would actually like to see this
It's so sad how many thriving democracies with stable states and generous social safety nets could have happened, if western countries hadn't interfered. It shows perfectly it was never about spreading democracy in the first place, and the west has nerve to complain about that very destabilising it did.
Matt Christman's treatise on don't be an asshole, don't be a pussy being the only dichotomy in American politics gets to this as well. The evil is baked in and unadressable what matters is how you feel about it.
loving the MATTWATCH stinger at the start
Aww. Anyone else in the mood to get Hancock a happy meal after hearing Milo's addendum at the start?
