I have hard time paying attention to any media before someone covers the wallstreet bets -fiasko properly. Again some amount of capital made the line go up without any material reasons, but this time they are self proclaimed autist and retards and also all the collection of capital hate them for making the line go up? I understand that it's fun entertainment and all but what the hell does it mean to for example workers who work at GameStop? Have we just agreed that their work is completely redundant for the capital they serve, and serve merely a ceremonial role in this abstract vehicle in chiken-game for rich or heavily in debt people? Just like with Tesla, any dividends the company releases are basically just a rounding error for any investors, and can never possibly serve an actual role in their investment strategy other than pure optics. So why do they still even take part in an economy and carry out transactions? Are there still employees who get sales adjustments in wages or provisions on sales, even if the owners aren't even remotely interested in the remaining profits?
