I don’t know what the correct watch-house ratio is, but I’m fairly confident it should round to zero

So, uh is Milo still part of the show? Cause it seems like its been a long time since he was last on.

Where’s Milo…

consensus is that he's basically a popular enough standup comic now that he no longer has the time to host this show

Getting charged for fraud by the current DOJ is frankly impressive

I feel that the police not listening to that guy when he said he had been stabbed is less a story of, you know, the police being so steeped in anti-racist indoctrination that they automatically believe the brown guy, than of the police having a general contempt for the young. The way a lot of officers seem to understand their role is essentially to protect middle-aged affluent people from scurrilous teens doing anti-social behaviour. While he was bleeding out they were talking to the guy like he was a bothersome child. They saw him as a social problem to be managed, not a person to protect.

exactly. The right (not that Nowak was right-wing) is finally getting the experience most normal people get from the police and it's driving them nuts.

In regards to the intro, I was talking with a black guy and a brown guy, and instead of having a race war we decided to go get brunch.

Canes v Brumbies numbers you mean! (Just putting this out there to investigate the intersection between TF and NZ rugby fandom. Boy, what a match)

If, tomorrow, I tell the press that, like, Konstantin Chaykin has made a Minions watch, nobody panics, because it's all "part of the plan". But when I say that little old Dick Mille will release a watch with a smiley face, well then everyone loses their minds!

oh last time i went out for coffee I ended up refinancing myself four blue market atomic reactors. didn't make it to the coffeeshop tho

It took them 35 minutes to reach for a Mumford and Sons joke. Well done!

As a recovering watchhead, I heard the words "Richard Mille Smiley" and felt it connecting with November a fraction of a second before she made that sound like a psychic boxing hook

J
James Rule · June 5, 2026

Hrm... named Rob... That's going to get confusing. Mind if we call you Gareth?

G
George Toner · June 6, 2026

Gareth is the role, not the name of the man. Thus it is 'his excellency the right honourable Gareth of the Trashfuture, ser Robert Smith, first of his name, breaker of yet more bad news'
