I actually went to Cirque for an alumni do for a law firm I worked at… bit awkward
The "first is last" thing is a weird screenwriting technique where something happens early, a callback happens later, and the first and last are equidistant from the start and end. 5 minutes in? The callback is 5 minutes from the end.
I avoided listening to the Boney Island Whitefish thinking, "What do I care about Bones?" and seeing it pop up again in the feed, I finally decided to get the bones out of bone storage to see what the deal was. I'm pleased I did, this has been a fantastic series so far. While some episodes of Bones have been poor enough that the only shining light has been the breakfast segment, it's incredible when you hit upon things like the discovery that the Transatlantic slave trade was bad. Incredible stuff, I can't wait to hear what they do next.
