I vividly remember asking my dad to tape this episode for me so I could watch nitro live. Heel JR didnt really make any sense to a 9 yr old.

An iconic episode around this era is the January 22, 1996 episode of RAW where Vader destroys Gorilla Monsoon.

I legit have no idea what anyone was thinking during that Savio/Fake Razor match. JR and Monsoon screaming at each other, saying "Scott Hall" and "Kevin Nash" repeatedly, basically admitting these two aren't the real Razor and Diesel. ...just WHAT ARE WE DOING HERE? How does this get ANYONE over?

JR is going crazy during that “Razor Ramon” match. I can legit sense when King and Kelly were actually getting annoyed with him.

I went ahead and looked up just the match card for the competing Nitro, and it already sounds WAY better. >The Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge & Rocco Rock) (c) defeated El Technico & Juventud Guerrera to retain the WCW World Tag Team Championship (2:06) >Alex Wright defeated Dean Malenko (5:17) >Eddie Guerrero defeated Jim Powers (w/Teddy Long) (6:27) >Hugh Morrus defeated Brad Armstrong (4:15) >Arn Anderson (w/Woman) defeated Chris Jericho (5:35) >Lex Luger defeated M. Wallstreet (7:23) >The Faces Of Fear (Meng & The Barbarian) (w/Jimmy Hart) defeated The Rock 'n' Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) (8:25) >Chris Benoit (w/Debra & Steve McMichael) defeated Rick Steiner (4:25)
